How do I access and clear AC condensate drain in my 94 Nissan pickup?
I'll answer my own question, so maybe it will be of help to others... You get to the condensate drain from inside the cab by removing the glove compartment and its backing plate. There are two screws on the glove box door hinge, and six others on the backing plate. Once removed, you will have access to the evaporator coil housing, the lower portion of which serves as the drip pan. The rubber condensate tube exits the casing on the lower left, going through the firewall, and making a short (4") turn down toward the underside of the vehicle. You could try using air or a flexible wire working from the outside in, but it's likely that whatever is clogging the drain will just return and clog it again. It's better (although tougher) to take the evaporator housing off and clean it out (it was leaves from the air intake that were the culprit in my case). Re-assembly is the reverse of the dis-assembly. Have fun...

How do you know which spark plug a 1984 Nissan 2.4 liter is timed on the exhaust or intake?
The firing order on any engine, including the NISSAN Z24 2.4 Liter Four-Cylinder engine is always started at #1 spark plug. On the Z24, it is the exhaust side. If you crank your engine with the distributor cap off, the rotor will rotate, of course. When you stop cranking the engine, the rotor will always stop where the #1E plug wire should be on the distributor cap. So when checking the timing of the engine, always go off of the #1 plug on the exhaust side. Disregard the comment about always stopping on #1E, it simply is not so!
The intake and exhaust plugs fire at the same time so in most cases it doesn't matter. Under some conditions, one set of plugs is disabled. If I remember correctly, it is the exhaust plugs that are disabled, but this is only at high speeds so it shouldn't matter for setting the timing. The Nissan Service Manual says to use the intake plug.

Also try interigating the ECU for the Fault code that should give you a good idea where to start
I would bet it is just the head warped. Pull the head, have it checked for cracks and planed and put it back. I fixed my own by sanding the head against a piece of slate I knew was flat and sandpaper used for sanding floors. You can see the high spots and you sand till they disappear. Drove it for years and would still have it, but it rusted away. The head is the weak spot and is almost always what goes bad by warping.

It took me a while to find mine. It's been a while since I changed mine, and I tried to find the exact location again, but I could not see it. It is on the passenger side of the motor, close to where the water line to the heater comes off by the thermostat, and if I rememeber correctly, it's under the intake manifold. If I remember correctly, it's not directly on the motor, but off of a pipe, but I'm not sure. Sorry I couldn't help you more.
