Where is the blinker fuses located on a 94 olds cutlass supreme?

Well, first of all, the bulb is going to go out *way* before the fuse itself. If your blinkers just stay steady, its a bulb.. if they don't come on at all, its probably a bulb, but just so you know, if you flip over the cover to your fuses, you should find a handy dandy little sticker, and it'll tell you the amps of each fuse, and what the fuse is for.

If the engine doesn't turn over on a 91 olds cutlass calais how do you know if it is a starter of alternator problem?

Answer

If the battery's dead it could be the alternator or a bad battery. If not, the starter. Try jumping it. If it starts the starter's OK. Then investigate the alternator and battery.

Does it turn over but not start..?? There is a difference. Doesn't turn over would most likely be the battery, which is typically followed by a clicking noise. That would be the starter solenoid trying to engage but the battery doesn't have enough power to do so.

If jumping it starts it right up, let it run for 10 or 15 minutes then (while running) check the voltage at the battery terminals. If it's above 14 volts, the alternator is doing it's job and the battery is dead. If the voltage is less than 14, then the alternator needs to be replaced.

Where is the flasher switch on a 1994 Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera S 4 door?

The flasher switch for the 94 cutlass is not where you would think it would be it is behind and off to the side of the ashtray or below the radio. The above is accurate; getting to it is a little tricky. Open the glove box and remove the tether wire connection at the door by unscrewing the SHC screw with a T-15 Torx driver. This will expose 2 of the 4 fuse panel mounting screws. Use an 8mm socket to remove all four and wiggle the panel out. The flasher is behind and to the left in the harness itself, not on a terminal block. Use a straight blade screwdriver to gently pry the two prong connection from the unit (Mine was an OEM Wagner - bright yellow.) Additional Answer It depends if you're talking about the turn signal flasher or the emergency flasher. The emergency flasher is directly behind the glovebox. If you're referring to the turn signal flasher, I just replaced mine last night without having to mess with the fusebox or glovebox. It turns out that it was attached by a clip on the right side of the ashtray frame inside the dashboard. I took out the removable "cup" part of the ashtray, then removed the two upper and two lower ashtray frame screws. Next, I pulled the frame forward and disconnected the small ashtray light. The power wire for the cigarette lighter can stay attached. After I slide the frame out the rest of the way it was easy to get to and replace the flasher unit.

Where is the turn signal flasher on a 1996 Olds Ciera?

This is Terry Donovan and I have answered my own question. On the 96 Ciera the turn signal flasher is behind the fuse box. The fuse box is in the glove box. Remove the four screws and take out the fuse assembly. Look in to the left and WALAHH. The hazard flasher on this car is under the passenger dash all the way to the right. Take out the right dash speaker and you can reach it. You may have to remove the glove box for this one too.

Where is the orifice tube located on a 1992 Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera S?

The orifice tube is located in the high pressure line at the left-bottom of the condensor (which mounts in front of the radiator). Where the line exits at the left-bottom (this is driver's side) of the condensor you will find an inline connector. Above this connector you will notice three small dimples in the line - this is where the orifice tube is mounted. Break the line (carefully!) and remove the orifice tube with a pair of needle nose pliers. Begin removal by gently twisting the orifice tube to break its seal and extract. Be careful because these can be broken easily and any remaining portion in the line is of course more difficult to extract. Also, the line and its connector is aluminum. Typically the threads are very dry and extremely difficult to break loose. You MUST use a backup wrench along with the one used to loosen the connector and it will help by using some type of penetraing oil/lubricant. Be careful with this as it is easy to either twist the line itself (and ruin it) or pull the threads off the aluminum nut at the connection.
