You are probably going to need a new cable end. they can be purchased at any parts store and all you need to do is cut the old one off, bare off a small section of wire and install the new one.

I am dealing with the same problem on my 98 and what I've discovered is that both the blower motor and the resistor need to be replaced.

Brought it to the shop they quoted 500.00. Online someone said that they installed it in an hour or so.

I ordered both parts from O'Reilly's Auto Parts for less than 60.00 total and will put it in myself.

You can measure it you mesure from the center of one lug nut accross the center hole to the center of the other lug nut it will be the same no mater way you do it they average between 4-5.5 inchs that cars most likely around 4- 4.5 inchs you take the amount of lugs and your mesurement and you have your bolt patter some go by millimeters ex.. 5x4.5 is also 5x115

Get a mounting adapter kit (from walmart, etc), and a wiring harness adapter (from bestbuy, etc), and follow the instructions with those. Installation is easy. There's several torx head screws in the black panel that goes over that whole area of the dash, and pop the panel out. Then just take the stereo out and put your new one in.

There is a plug with either 2 or 3 wires plugged in to the side of the alternator that can be unplugged. With the engine running at slow idle unplug that plug and note whether engine speed picks up slightly and then plug it back in and notice if engine speed slows down slightly. If engine speed increases and decreases as I've described your alternator is working because when it is actually charging it uses more horsepower. If the engine speed does not change your alternator is not working.

Another simple way to to test the alternator with a volt meter at the battery with the engine running. If you read between 13.5 to 16 volts it is more than likely good. Less than 13.5 and it is defective.

First of all, when the ABS light comes on the brake system has gone back to the conventional brake system without ABS and the car is still safe to drive. The correct method to diagnoise ABS systems is to connect a Computerized Scanner and pull the trouble code,, then use the Manufactures ABS Trouble Code Chart . Most Trouble code charts will have a flow chart that will lead you to repair the problem. Most chain Auto parts stores have scanners and they are often very helpful in pulling the trouble codes and getting you the information that you need. These are complicated systems and most technicians have gone through many class room hours. And even if you got lucky and was able to repair the problem you would still need a scanner to erase all previous trouble codes to make the ABS light turn off.

NO way? If you bought it anyway change every fluid in it.

They sell bypass pulleys but you may need to remove compressor to install (this I'm not sure about but looks like you have to.) I s there an easier fix?

Jack the car up at the right rear wheel. The fuel filter is located under the car, beneath the right rear passenger door. It'll be self-explanatory as soon as you see it.

Remove the oil pan plug and let the oil drain out into a large 2 gallon pan or bucket that you hopefully put under the oil pan plug area. Find the oil filter. Move the oil drain pan to beneath the oil filter - remove same and drop it in the pan. Got some time? - let oil drain for 30 minutes. Replace oil drain Install new oil filer. Install new oil check oil level after running engine 32 minutes and again after five minutes. Add oil if not correct level.

yes they do go bad and leak usually when the plug that plugs in to it is removed they leak from the electrical connectors when worn

There are three fuses. All are in the Fuse panel under the driver side dash. Fuses 5A, 5C, and 5D.

If its a 4 speed automatic ( 4T40E) there is a fill plug on top of the Transmission and a plug for checking the level by the right ( pass side ) axle shaft , where it comes out of the trans. about at a 5 O Clock position if you were looking directly into hole where axle shaft goes in. Stupid engineering. the Three speed auto and manuals have dipsticks. The level is to be at the bottom of the hole.

I have a series II 3.8 liter. The MAF sensor is located under the plastic cover for the engin. You have to take the oil fill cap and neck off to lift the cover off. Once the cover is removed, the MAF sensor can be seen at the top and to the left of the engin. it is a small square box that has a three wire plug in and two vacume lines going to it. Ceck to see if the wire connections are ok before you replace the sensor. Good luck.

The MAP sensor is located on the throttle body. There are two screws that secure it in place.

Follow the positive battery cable ; it will lead you to the starter. Mark

We know were the starter is, how do you get it out? Does the intake manifold have to be removed?

there's a removeable panel on the drivers side to the right of the emergency brake and the hood lever. the panel comes out rather easily
