There's no single right answer that will cover any 20' sloop, the size and shape of the keel the form of the hull and how the sails are ballanced will all affect what size rudder is needed, as well as the shape of it. Also the answer will depend on what handling characteristics are desired.

As for just the depth of the rudder, usually it will go to slightly less depth than the keel when the keel is at it's deepest. Some lifting keel yachts, especially smaller ones, also have a lifting rudder.

By U.S. law, carbon is not a listed hazardous waste nor is it characteristic hazardous waste. That is not to say that carbon has no hazards. For instance, spent activated charcoal will need to be characterized as to the hazard of the adsorbed chemical.

Charcoal, by itself has restrictions under DOT HazMat shipping regulations because if it is stacked on skids higher than 4-feet, it can hold and build heat and auto-ignite from the friction from vibration produced during road transport.

This requires that the earth around your house be sloped away from it. If this is not feasible, drainage ditches should be constructed or install drainage pipe with yard inlets. Depending on your exact situation, maybe you need a french drain or sump pump.

It depends very strongly on the plastic being burned. The worst products produced are various polycyclic chlorinated hydrocarbons (e.g., PolyChlorinated Biphenyls, PCBs). Some plastics give off acids while burning (e.g., vinyls give off Hydrochloric Acid). The best are Carbon Dioxide and Water.

Electric cars themselves do not harm the environment in any way. The only harm that can be done by an electric car is the misuse in disposing of the battery. Other then that the only pollution that can be caused by electric cars is when your recharging your battery and the only way it can cause pollution is because utility companies that provide electricity do so in non renewable ways

What is happening is that there is no oil to lubricate the rods and pistons as they are moving inside the head and so it is causing the knocking noise. If you have filled you oil and still hear the knocking, the main filter in the oil pan could be clogged. This happened to me. You do not want it to go on too long because you will blow your engine.
