Can a speaker wire harness be used to connect the cars harness to a new after market radio?
it might, it depends on the brand of the new radio and what plugs they use. if not, most good electronic stores sell adapters to join different brands if you dont want to strip and splice the wires by hand.

Was Howard McNear in the Lineup-radio series?
In almost every Lineup show I've heard Howard McNear appeared, usually as a secondary character. One show I heard featured him as either a mad bomber or arsonist, I can't remember which. He was the lead villain in that show. He also appeared in radio's Gunsmoke, Gregory Hood, Cinnamon Bear, and countless other television and radio shows and movies.
The ideal length for a simple antenna is approximately 1/2 of a wavelength. At VHF FM frequencies this will be about than 1.5m long. On the AM band, a much longer whip antenna will be required (100m+). Not very practical. The ferrite rod is placed inside a coil of wire producing a simple loop antenna with the ferrite helping to intensify its magnetic properties producing a relatively compact antenna solution.
How do you convert 2003 vw polo stock radio from Japanese FM frequencies to UK frequencies?
Go to your local car audio shop and get a 'band expander'plugs between your headunit and antenna cable. Generally has a power connection wire
Why do radio stations need dj's?
The simple answer is that they probably do not need DJ's any more. 30 years ago the DJ would need to select the music from a selection of vinyl disks. They would then place the records on one of a pair of turntables and use a monitoring circuit on the mixer to find the beginning of one track whilst the other record was playing. They would then select jingles and adverts from a selection of endless loop tape cartridge.
These days all music is selected by computer to fit in with the stations desired output. The computer also selects the ad breaks and jingles by following a predetermined algorithm. All that's left for the DJ to do is think of something interesting to say between the tracks.
The result is slick but very robotic sounding radio with little to distinguish between different shows. If you wanted to produce an all music radio station, you could do away with the DJ completely.
What is required to play LP records?
LP records are a very old type of record and is not used much by people much in this time era. LP records require a certain type of turntable to properly play it.
I just bought a 2002 BMW 325i and had the exact same problem. I took the car to BMW and they said that whoever had the car before had it apart and did not reset the sensors. They reset the sensors and it worked fine for a couple of days. I put in a cheap one at Best Buy. BMW told me that if it was a blown fuse the radio will not turn on. A BMW replacement Business CD Player will cost you upwards of a thousand dollars.

Why would the audio fuse continue to blow if there is no short in the radio or CD changer?
impossible, there must be a short or it wouldn't blow. first check to see if anything is crossed, like anywhere as in behind the radio the neg and pos wires are switched. second, check the fuse panel for condensation or water leaks coming from anywhere. and lastly id suggest making sure you have the right amp fuse in there as a buddy of mine did that put a 10 amp fuse in a 20 amp slot and couldn't figure out why it was not working. if uve upgraded the speakers or audio system in anyway that creates a whole new mess of things, like ur aftermarket speakers for example are way too much for the stock built in amp for the dash. for example that but could be soemthing along those lines. for a quick fix try upping the amperage on the fuses til it doesnt blow but i don't recommend that for too long as it may or may not create other problems
The radio code is located on a white card that is given to you when you first by the car. I have this code but I have no idea how to put this code in.
There should be a white tag in the glove box. It has 5 numbers and under it it will have a set on number/letter combination. You will need the top set with 5 numbers. Power the radio on and it will have CODE. Put in the 5 numbers using the channel buttons, and it should come right on.
The dealer gave me a wrong code car. when I had to put it in and couldn't i took it to dealer. They were able to use my vin to get it from data base no charge
A Honda dealer can not retrieve the code from your VIN, they can however retrieve it from the serial number on the head unit (radio). The selling dealer will many times have a file on your vehicle which will also have the code written down when they PDI the vehicle. If you incorrectly enter the code several times you must reset the radio (unplug battery wait approximately 5 minutes) and then start the process all over. You will notice on your radio code no number is more than 6, as the preset buttons 1-6 are used to enter the code. If you do not have the code, again the only way to get the number is to pull the radio and get the serial number from the radio (labor charge usually involved), the VIN has nothing to do with the radio. Hope that helps-HondaGeorge
Your 1998 VW Cabrio radio ac headlights windshield wipers just stopped working Anyone know why?
I just had this same problem with my 1998 VW Jetta. My parking brake light came on one day, but only half illuminated. Shortly after my windshield wipers and headlights stopped working. My radio works but the fans don't work either. I just found a thread which seems to point the problem at the ignition switch:

What are the lyrics for manana is good enough for you?
Only one verse has been preserved in our ancient archives.
It goes like this:
The window she is broken, and the rain she's coming in.
If we don't fix the window, we'll be soaked down to our skin.
But if we wait a day or two, the rain may go away,
And we don't need a window, on such a sunny day.
Mañana. Mañana. Mañana is soon enough for me.

Did you try jumping it?
Ok. The Monte Carlo DOES NOT NEED JUMPED! Like stated above the LIGHTS/RADIO/EVERYTHING Turns on just fine. Battery is fine, We've tested the starter and wiring, battery connections are fine. It starts just fine any other time. Once in awhile you turn the key and it doesn't do anything except for turn on lights/radio/etc....It has to be something in the ignition. Neways I think we've figured it out.
Does your ignition key have the little black chip in it? If so make sure the metal contacts on both sides are clean and before you put key in ignition ensure chip is centered in key. GM made a security feature to make it more dificult for a car thief to start engine, and your car's computer uses the value of the resistor inside the little black chip in key to ensure it is the proper key for the car.
Yeah it has that chip in the key mold and the ignition apparently. We are thinking that's the entire problem. I don't know how to ensure it's centered though.
I'm not sure what year they switched the style of key, but I'm referring to if there is the chip built into the metal part of the key not the rubber handle (where you can see the chip). It was somewhere around your cars year they switched it. Also check if there is power going to the starter relay next time it happens, you can also swap it with another relay to check the relay. And check if there is power going to the S-terminal on starter if the relay functions properly.
