Where can you find free radio wiring harness diagram for a 1998 ford contour?
Best place I found was http://www.modifiedlife.com/car-stereo-radio-wiring-diagram-and-wire-colors-2002-jeep-liberty/
They have many other year models listed but my 2003 has more wires than they list (like 2 pink wires and 2 black wires. I am assuming that this is because the radio and CD player run on different power supplies. plus a light green and a purple/yellow wire I believe the light green and purple yellow wire is for the 2 front speakers.
I have not check this as of yet and probably won't come back to correct mistakes if any.
(most likely mistake is the light green wire and the orange wire need to be switched I would check this with a voltmeterfirst then do your install as i will tomorrow, but all of the speaker wires seem pretty correct.)

Who was the first female disc jockey on radio?
Known as "The First Lady of Chicago Radio," Yvonne Daniels was an African-American broadcast pioneer. Her soothing voice and knowledge of jazz made her a favorite with listeners throughout America's Midwest.
The daughter of jazz singer Billy Daniels, she began her radio career at a Jacksonville, Illinois, rhythm and blues station. Later she joined WYNR/Chicago, where her jazz show competed with popular disc jockey Sid McCoy on WCFL. At McCoy's urging, WCFL eventually hired Daniels and soon the team was heard in 38 states, thanks to the 50,000-watt power of WCFL.
From 1964 to 1973, Daniels worked at WSDM/Chicago, the nation's first all-female radio station. Her program Daniels' Den consistently won its time slot.
In 1973, she moved to WLS/Chicago, another 50,000-watt powerhouse, where she became the station's first female disc jockey.
During the 1980s, Daniels worked Chicago morning shows on WVON, WGCI and eventually on "Smooth Jazz WNUA." During her 30-year career, Daniels is credited with paving the way for future generations of female radio personalities.
Yvonne Daniels died on June 21, 1991.
Yvonne Daniels was inducted into the Radio Hall of Fame in 1995

What is the functions of the radio?
In the broadest sense, the function of radio is to carry information from place
to place without the need of a medium, such as fires, drums, cannon, runners,
stagecoach, Pony Express, pigeons, wires, etc.
If you can imagine yourself in a time and place where a physical connection was
absolutely necessary in order to move even the simplest message between
locations, perhaps you can understand what a big deal the development of
radio was, and how it changed the world.
An amusing factoid:
The technology wasn't called "radio" at first. It was referred to with the quaint,
old-fashioned name of "wireless". Surprised ?

You will need to purchase an installation kit and a wiring harness adapter (they are specific to your year/make/model). The installation kit should have instructions on how to get the old radio out. Community radio gets sponsored by the community. i.e. (local) government). Community radio therefore has no profit target
Commercial radio is like a normal business; earning money with advertising, using that money to make radio programs. When radio programs get a lot of listeners advertising in those programs gets more expensive (basic economic law) which means an increase in profit for the commercial radio station
Which one is higher energy gamma waves ultra violet waves microwaves radio waves?
The smaller the wavelength (high frequency), the higher the energy. So gamma has the highest energy, followed by x-rays, UV, visible, infrared, microwaves, radio, in descending order. This is also why green laser-pointers are more expensive than red ones ;)
Why does my 2003 Pontiac radio not shut off after door is opened?
I have a 1996 Aurora and it does the same thing. I think this is a "nicety" and stays on so you can gather your stuff and still listen to the radio until you open the door. Then it shuts off. Being a GM product as well, it wouldn't surprise me if it was the same thing going on. Functioning as designed.

Where is the 2001 Jeep Cherokee Sport radio aux input?
Note: this does not tell you which speaker wires are which or which ones are positive and negative. This should be made obvious by the wiring harness when purchased. This is to give you an idea of how the subwoofer is wired in the center consol and what all the wires in your dash do. I was trying to rewire my stereo and couldn't find a wiring diagram so I asked the question and answered it myself. After ripping apart my Wrangler I found this wiring scheme... this is with the subwoofer in the center consol... RADIO PLUG While looking at the radio wiring harness strait on, positioned as it is ready to plug into the radio, you will notice two rows of connectors. Starting from the left, the top row has 5 utalized connectors, 3 with no wires, and 3 more utalized connectors. The bottom row is the same. The connectors on the left side (top and bottom) are both grounds (black) and should be tied together. The connectors on the far right side are 12 Volt on steady (yellow) (top and bottom) and should also be tied together. Out of the All the connectors on the left side that are being utalized, the far left 2 were grounds. The other 8 are speakers. 2 for each speaker, 2 front, 2 rear. (Note: Stereo speakers run to the sides of the dash and roll bars as well as to the center consol for the subwoofer. All 8 speakers run to the center because the subwoofers processor is designed to process the sound of all the channels. If you are not getting sound out of some speakers, it is possible to have a short in this consol.) Go to the connector on the bottom right. Move one connector left. This connector next to the bottom right is the Power on (red) 12 Volt connector. This supplies 12 volts when the car is turned on. Got to the connector on the top right. Move one connector left. This connector next to the top right is the amp power on. Your radio amp power on output 12Volt should connect here. If you have no amp power on for your radio, Connect it to the (red) 12 stereo power on connector dirrectly below it. This will turn the amp on with the radio. We have discused all the wires on the right being utalized except the 2 closest to the middle. The top... ? I don't know. The bottom (I believe) is the dimmer for the radio light. SUBWOOFER PLUG When the plug is facing you and there is a plastic connector piece off one side facing down, you will notice two rows of plugs top and bottom. The 8 connectors on the right side are for the speakers as follows: Subwoofer plug Speaker section Stereo plug Speaker section Top right sub plug = top left stereo plug Top middle right = top middle left Top middle left = top right Top left = top middle left Bottom right = bottom right Bottom middle right = bottom middle right Bottom middle left = bottom left Bottom left = Bottom middle left Out of the four on the left, the top left is ground. The bottom left is 12 Volt power on steady from fuse in glove box. Remove the Subwoofer fuse and this power goes away. Top right of the four is a blank that is not used and the one below it is the amp power on (12 volt) that comes from the stereo plug (next to top right) as discussed above. Hopefully this will save someone the trouble of removing their center consol like me.
