Why does your refridgerator leak water?
it shouldn't leak water as though its a normal thing get it fixed. but to answer the question, a fridge uses water to cool the area it surrounds, much like how a radiator uses water to heat up the area its sitting in
<><><>
The supply line to an icemaker can leak, and refrigerators release water from auto defrost into a pan under the fridge. This small amount of water usually evaporates, but if the pan is cracked or missing, will leak onto the floor. A fridge does not use water to cool the area it surrounds- it uses a freon compound to transfer heat from inside to the outside.
Why do you need a wine fridge?
There are two main reasons, and to explain, it is important to understand how most home and commercial refrigerators work. Most home and commercial refrigerators keep food between 34 and 43 degrees. The temperature is constantly going up and down in this range. First they will blast cool air until the temperature reaches about 34 degrees, it will allow the temperature to slowly crawl back up, and when it is almost to 43 degrees it will blast more cool air in. One reason people prefer keeping their wine in coolers designed for them is that they are often times smaller and therefore easier to keep within a tighter temperature range. A constant wide change in temperature will shorten the shelf life of the wine. Another reason is because drinking temperature of most wines is between 41 and 48 degrees. It isn't necessary to keep wine in the same temperature range as food to prevent bacteria growth. It is also nice to have the wine at the perfect temperature when you are ready to drink it!
Yes. The person shutting the door is in effect holding the other person against their will.
It is abusive to restrain someone against their will and also illegal.
It is irrelevant whether or not the person blocked the door or otherwise implied they were not going to allow the other person to leave, closing the door was a sign of "intent to restrain".
Obviously this does not apply if it is a sistuation where both parties wanted privacy because others were present in the household.
.......
The above incident occured approx 15 years ago & the only one of that type of incident. Yet, My spouse still calls this "ABUSE" approx15 years later. It it not time for her to forget a minor NON-VERRBAL , NON-Physical incident. This spouse has never been Mentally Abused, Verbally Abused, Emotionally Abused or Physically Abused. Your calling this ABUSE makes a MOCKERY of "REAL ABUSE" & should infuriate those who fight for women who are Truly Abused. We now live in a Society where "Looking @ someone across a room" is harassment. Abuse is defined as a pattern of coercive behaviour in which one person attempts to control another through threats or actual use of Physical Violence, sexual assault & verbal or Psychological Abuse. I don't believe the above incident falls into such a Category. It is an EXTREME Point of View from someone involved with ABUSE ISSUES>

You shouldn't keep them in the fridge for longer than 2 days as the filling doesn't taste good anymore. It's better to freeze them uncooked and then boil them on the day when you want to have them. They are the yummiest when eaten fresh, either boiled or boiled and then fried lightly. Hope my answer helps.

How do you keep food safe in refrigerator under load shedding?
Keep an appliance thermometer in your refrigerator or freezer to maintain the right temperature in them. And then making sure that the freezer is at 0 °Fwhereas fridge at 40 °F. If there is too much load shedding then keeping containers of frozen water can maintain the temperature for quite some time till power is back. Freeze refrigerated items such as leftovers, milk, and fresh meat and poultry that you may not need immediately-this helps keep them at a safe temperature longer. Group food together in the freezer-this helps the food stay cold longer. Keep the refrigerator and freezer doors closed as much as possible to maintain the cold temperature. The refrigerator will keep food safely cold for about 4 hours if it is unopened. A full freezer will hold the temperature for approximately 48 hours (24 hours if it is half full and the door remains closed). Food may be safely refrozen if it still contains ice crystals or is at 40 °F or below. If a thermometer has not been kept in the freezer, then check each package of food to determine its safety. If the food still contains ice crystals, the food is safe. Discard refrigerated perishable food such as meat, poultry, fish, soft cheeses, milk, eggs, leftovers, and deli items after 4 hours without power. When in Doubt, Throw it Out!
Does bad bacteria grow on food if put in refrigerator hot?
It could. But that's a big what-if. Bacteria need certain temperature to grow. And while hot food in a fridge will become that temp. it will only be there for several minutes tops. Also bacteria hate cold and die when they become to cold. All being said, you can do it safely.

Which would cool down quicker in a fridge - a full bottle of water or half a bottle of water?
A half bottle because small bodies cool down faster. Like a emporer penguin chick out in the open. The chick would freeze to death quick, that's why they try to say with their parents. Or why you cant blow on a whole bowl of hot soup to cool it down.
Is Black specks on raw batter stored in fridge bad?
I'm not an expert; however notice people giving replies which indicate bacteria or mold. This cannot be true given the period of time and the conditions it occurs in (e.g. properly refrigerated). Some statements imply oxidization or iron formation from flour. Both could be true. I think what they mean by oxidization is where the egg meets oxygen it goes black. I admit it doesn't look or sound like something you would want however it is not harmful. If mixed properly disappears and tastes fine, with no ill effects. So we can rule out negative ideas.
