Why would standing water accumulate on the floorboards of a 2001 Saturn L200?
On my 2003 Saturn L200, the reason I had standing water accumulating on the floorboards is that a previous owner had the windshield replaced (at dealership, I believe) and it was improperly sealed! Apparently, there are two places where the windshield needs to be sealed (an inner lip, then all around the glass at the outside edge). It took several attempts, two replacement carpets and watertesting before Saturn figured out the problem and properly repaired it.

I have 2002 Saturn L200 and i just recently replaced my rear pads, with the four wheel disc the braking is very good. I have 75000 on mine and as long as your not getting vibration when braking, at any speed your rotors are fine, just check your pads.

Remember that you had to retract the calipers completely before you could put in the new brake pads. Sometimes it takes a few pumps before the calipers are back in position.

The L200 4 cylinder has a MAP sensor. The 3.0L v-6 has a MAF and a Map sensor. That may be causing the confusion.......
