The low pressure port on a Saturn I200 is attached to the oil filter, which is directly below the vehicle's engine. The pressure port is directly attached to the fuel rail, and just above the fuel injectors.

Another reason may be that hose on your motor near the top about 2 inches long. i have a 96 sl1 that was burning oil and i replaced that and it quit burning oil.

Take off the air cleaner,the fluid filter and the positive cable from the battery. its right there infront of the transmission. It's $15.00 and 15 minutes you will have it running again! My transmission was shifting all kinds of crazyness, now it shifts Great!.

Have vehicle scanned to determine if any codes are stored. ================= actually i haVE this problem still with my 2002 lw200 wagon, i did get it scanned and the dealer said it was nothing and reset it or something because it was off for about a day *again* so unless you got your own code scanner MAKE SURE you are there and watching what really comes up when it gets scanned... also i dont have the owner's manual so i dont even know what check engine light means other then the obvious also FYI the dealer told me this usually happens from the gas cap not being on completely/properly < not so for me, i even checked the fuses n stuff myself along with other things but everything seems fine except i find the motor sounds a tiny bit louder and it almost sounds like the lifters are sticking (almost a clicky engine knock when exelerating :(.,if you figure anything else i'd love to hear, im gonna get mine scanned AGAIN by a private mechanic tomorow so hopefully i will find out and post my results here

i had to do this a few days ago all u really have to do is first drain the coolant, then move the intake out of the way , there are three screws hold it down.after that there is a hose that was kinda under the intake you need to remove that so you can get the cooling fan out once you have that done you have to remove the cooling fan there is a screw on the right side of it the rest of the cooling fan just pops out(DO NOT REMOVE THE HOSES that may get in the way of removing the cooling fan those are to ur ac so un less u don't want that to work the don't do it). then u need to get under and remove the plastic covers that protect the radiator there are some scerw behind the radiator u need to remove these cause they stupidly attached the ac cooler thing to the radiator . after u remove thos u should be fine. there are also some screws and up at the top of the radator that keep it from move around after u remove those and the last hose that's connects to the radiator it should just pull out. after that u just put the new one in and put every thing back.

The knock sensor is located on the backside of the engine to the left of the oil filter, it is round with a 1 wire plug on it and a round base. I do not know the torque spec, but when I replaced mine I made it tight enough not to back out on its own.

The 2003 Saturn L200 has a camshaft position sensor. It is located on the bottom front of engine behind the Starter. You will need to remove the two bolts that are holding the Starter to get to the sensor.

I cleaned all the contacts on all the fuses for the Brakes and BCM, and found one blown fuse. The combination of cleaning the contacts <good old contact cleaner> and replacing the fuse worked.

Standing in front of the car looking at the engine block you will see an aluminum housing with a large black plastic nut on top of it, the oils filter is within this housing. This is a replaceable element filter not a canister filter like you would find on other conventional vehicles.

None directly - that I know off, however, you might try Saab and I know that the V6 is the same thing and that they are the same car pretty much.

There is a 15 amp brake fuse in the under hood fuse box. Should be a fuse puller inside and a diagram of all the fuses inside the lid. New fuses can be found at any auto parts store, however there should be 1 spare fuse for 10-30amp inside the fuse box.

Because when you hit a bump, instead of bouncing over it you will hear a bang as the shock bottoms out. They aren't too difficult to replace really. Big bolt top and bottom you'll need a half inch socket drive and not much else.

The Ecotec engine engine is quite sensitive to timing belt adjustment.

If you insist on doing the job yourself, make certain that you use the proper tool.

The Ecotec timing belt tool holds the crankshaft and all 4 camshafts into position while the mechanic replaces the timing belt.

The tool and timing belt costs almost the same as having your local dealer replace the belt for you, and if THEY mess up the job, they'll have to replace the belt for you.

Hint!

Replace the serpentine belt, water pump and possibly the idler pulley while you have that part of the engine opened up.

You'll need to remove the covers, pull the serpentine belt, and it will be a lot easier if you pull the passenger side tire and fender cover.

The horn is right in the middle of the steering wheel on a 2002 L100, and I assume so on all L-Series vehicles.

You will need a Torx style bit or wrench to fit into the plug (size T40). A small pipe wrench which grips the outer flange of the plug can also be used to loosen it.

You can't because it's a sealed transmission.

to remove the front brakes you need a 7mm hex socket and a 10 mm hex socket

My OEM thermostat is labeled 85 (Celsius), which is 185 degrees F. This car was originally purchased in Arizona. Now I see everywhere on discussion forums and such that the OEM temperature is 195 F (that is a little below the mid scale on an unmodified gauge). It won't harm the vehicle to run hotter, especially in colder climates, gas mileage will improve somewhat, but performance will worsen.

Saturn S series vehicles do not use a Strut arm... nor do they have a Strut arm bushing. I'm assuming your referring to the sway bar bushing in the center of the lower control arm. This bushing is not serviceable alone, the replacement of the entire lower control arm is needed if the bushing has failed.
