What did the Irish republican army do to England and northern Ireland?
The attempted to use terrorism to political ends. Ie they tried to force the people of Northern Ireland to join the Republic of Ireland despite a majority of people in Northern Ireland wishing to remain in the United Kingdom. They attempted to force unification by killing protestants and attacking goverment buildings. They also set bombs in shopping centres and killed more than 1000 people in their attempts. They failed to achieve unification and the "political" representatives agreed that Northern Ireland was part of the United Kingdom in the Belfast Agreement in 1998. The IRA have been on ceasefire since. However there have been numerous although isolated murders by the IRA since then.
Who are the christian terrorist groups in the world?
True Christians, the ones who have Christ as their Savior do not have any terrorist groups. When ever you see anything about a Christian terrorist group you can attribute it to people who want to put a black mark against Christianity and falsely claim Christians are terrorist's or there is an unchristian group of terrorists claiming to be Christian. Calling a Christian a terrorist is like calling the LORD God (Yahweh) a false idol, which is utterly ridiculous. Only the Devil's children would do such a thing.

Like it or not, living in a 'free' country can be a dilemma. The right to bear arms is a great example. If it takes more than one hand to hold your weapon, it's just too damned big. You don't target shoot or deer hunt with an assault weapon, you destroy things.

How do you explain about terrorism to kids?
Terrorism, as we know it today, is rooted in frustration, anger, fear, and feelings of helplessness. It is easy to convince a group of very angry, fearful people that violence will get them power, especially since terrorism can pay off in the short term. It rarely, if ever, brings about a positive change. It usually ends with the terrorists dead or so damaged that they will never have a life they strive for and many more people dead and damaged. Needed changes can't be brought about by terrorism.
There is a line to be crossed between freedom fighter/revolutionary and terrorist. To over simplify the line is between destroying your opponent/enemy and destroying everyone who is not you.
A good description of a terrorist mentality was described by Tamim Ansary, in his book "West of Kabul, East of New York", as being shut in a box lined with mirrors and any ideas that might slip in are reflected off those mirrors.
Will airplanes ever become safe again after the terrorist attack?
Yes it is safe - you are more likely to have an accident from simple human error than from a terror attack - consider how many successful terror attcks have occued since 9-11 compared to accidents caused by human or mechanical failure - there is always a risk in everything we do in life and flying is no exception - my biggest concern with flying is miscommunication twixt air traffic controllers and pilots a much bigger concern than terror. The foregoing is correct...even considering the lives lost on 911, air travel is still, by far, the safest way to travel. As for the concerns expressed regarding communication between pilots and ATC, having flown commercially for some 30+ years, I can tell you that, while such problems do occasionally occur, in my experience they are quite rare.
Since 1964 there has been *reported* 64,000 attacks as of 2009.

Hezbollah (Arabic: حزب الله Ḥizbu 'llāh, literally "Party of Allah" or "Party of God") is a Shiite
Islamic militant
group that operates primarily out of Lebanon. It also has numerous secondary wings such a political party and healthcare services. Its primary source of funding and ideology is the Islamic Republic of Iran. Due to its actions against civilians, most Western governments and some Arab governments have recognized Hezbollah as a terrorist organization. However, due to its strong showing against Israel in the 2006 Lebanon War, Hezbollah is seen favorably by Arabs for resisting Israel.
Hezbollah claims that its opposition to Israel is rooted in both political considerations and from their understanding of the requirements of Islamic Jihad. This dual prong makes it difficult for other Muslims to condemn them, since even if they disagree with Hezbollah's interpretation of Islam, they do not disagree with the political considerations (namely Lebanese and Palestinian independence).

Why do you think the terrorist chose the world trade center and pentagon?
They were striking at symbols of American business, government, military power. It is thought that the plane that went down in Pennsylvania when the passengers resisted the hijackers was intended to strike the White House or Congress
On 9/11, terrorists from the group Al Qaeda attacked the World Trade Center and the Pentagon in airplanes. They did so to defeat America's financial and defense systems. The World Trade center was a huge factor in our country's monetary systems, and so the terrorists crashed airplanes into it in hopes of driving us into yet another period of depression. Also, the Pentagon was a main target because of its importance in the USA.'s armed forces. It is the main hub of the country's defense and military personel. Destroying it would cause us to become vulnerable against attack or war.
Middle eastern countries weren't happy that the republicans were taking their oil so they took down the twin towers. Also the republicans were aware of it. It obvious since they weren't even near New York or the White House and where ever the planes were suppose to land.

What is the evolution of terrorism?
The evolution of terrorism can refer to several things: meaning, tactics, objectives, and organization.
First, the meaning of terrorism has and continues to change. The word "terrorism" was popularized during the French Revolution, when the Revolutionary Tribunal began executing scores of French citizens. "The Reign of Terror" was considered beneficial, since it eliminated the French aristocracy and furthered the Revolution. During the 1800s, however, the terrorism gradually became associated with the Anarchist movement and became decidedly negative term. After World War II, terrorism became associated with nationalistic movements in Israel, Cyprus, and Algeria, amongst others. During this period, terrorists argued that violence provided the only means to free their country from colonial powers. The English and French considered terrorism a decidedly negative action, but the US and other western powers supported the nationalistic movements in Cyprus and Israel. Likewise, the meaning of terrorism changed once again in the 1960s and 70s, as terrorists became decidedly more religious in nature, perpetrating violence in the name of God. The vast majority of terrorist attacks remain motivated by religion, but terrorism in the 21st Century also indicates a willingness to commit indiscriminate violence and attack symbolic targets.
Second, terrorists continue to change tactics and weapons. For example, Jewish Zealots would assassinate Roman soldiers by slitting their throats, Islamic Assassins would poison their victims, and Indian Thugs would beat their targets to death. During the 1800s, the Anarchist movement popularized the use of bombs and used several to assassinate high profile targets in Russia. Similarly, the Israeli based Irgun group bombed the King David Hotel in 1946, causing mass casualties and destruction. During the 1970s, Palestinian groups hijacked aircraft, took hostages, and then destroyed the aircraft. Terrorist tactics changed again in the 1980s, as Hezbollah and the Tamal Tigers began using suicide bombers. In the 1990s, Aum Shinrikyo released Sarin gas in the Tokyo subway system. Finally, in 2001, al-Qaeda flew three aircraft into various targets in the United States. Thus, terrorist tactics have evolved from simple weapons and tactics, to the very complex.
Third, terrorist objectives continue to evolve. For example, after World War II, many terrorist groups sought to expel colonial powers from occupied lands. The Cyprus based EOKA used terrorism to wage a protracted war of attrition against the British. This campaign was successful and the British eventually withdrew from Cyprus. Israeli, Algerian, Irish, and Mau Mau terrorists used the same tactics and succeeded in liberating their countries. These terrorist groups had one objective, liberation, and this goal was generally achievable.
Contemporary terrorist groups have a wide range of objectives. HAMAS seeks to destroy Israel and liberate Palestine, al-Qaeda desires to establish an Islamic Caliphate, the ELF wants environmental security, and FARC wants to establish a Communist government in Colombia.
Terrorism today, however, is increasingly religious in nature and these terrorists are more willing to perpetrate indiscriminate violence. These groups also have generally unrealistic objectives, i.e., al-Qaeda seeks to destroy the United States and the ELF wants to end capitalism.
Finally, terrorist organization continues to evolve. In place of hierarchies, terrorists are gradually evolving into leaderless networks, characterized by many small cells nominally linked to one another. Terrorists prior to the mid-1990s generally operated in large, well organized groups. Hezbollah, the PLO, and al-Qaeda had a clear operational command. Terrorists today, however, are forming small, independent cells that are difficult to trace and infiltrate.
Thus, terrorist groups continue to evolve from the simple to the complex. Terrorist groups use to operate in large organizations, with obtainable objectives, and simple technologies and tactics. Terrorists today operate in decentralized groups, with generally impossible objectives, and lethal, complex weapons and tactics.

Most trained negotiators will advise you that "everything is negotiable." And it is true you never know what you may get until you ask. This being the case it is always advisable to negotiate with the IRS if you have a tax debt that has accumulated interest and penalties. Nothing can be done to negotiate interest due to the fact interest must be charged by law. Penalties is another story. The IRS will take clients thru a "reasonable cause interview" to determine whether you qualify for penalty abatement.
To increase your chances of success it is always advisable to have someone negotiate on your behalf who is knowledgeable and skilled at negotiating. Some professional tax resolution firms offers taxpayers a free tax consultation designed to help determine the best way to approach their specific situation. High level negotiations are best left to the professionals.
Business negotiations often calls for great preparation and insight into the subject being negotiated to avoid any embarrassment later.
