Attach the wiring harness to the end of the ignition lock cylinder. Slide the ignition lock cylinder into the slot. Tighten the retaining ring at the top of the cylinder.

The A/T P (automatic transmission park) indicator on the dash normally illuminates when the vehicle may be in danger of drifting, due to the transfer case being shifted into neutral. This (drift) can happen even when the transmission is in park - since the transfer case effectively disconnects the upper drivetrain, when shifted out-of-gear.

If the transfer case is properly shifted in H or L ranges (not neutral) and the indicator is illuminated, then there may be an adjustment needed in linkages or switch positions or even a malfunction in the circuit, such as a bad switch (i.e neutral safety, transfer indicator) or in the other associated electrical components.

The Toyota A340F transmission manual contains troubleshooting procedures for determining such malfunctions, including the false indication of an A/T P lamp, (visible on the dash combination meter).

there was a recall done on this car as i had one. problem with fuel filler hose. take to dealership. done for free. if this has been done then u need to check the rubber fuel hoses as they tend to go bad. i had to replace a few of those two. third possibility is bad fuel injectors that are leaking. dont wait. dangerous. Have your gas line checked. It could have a small hole in it. I had the same problem with my car. The gas line was cracking. I change the gas line, the smell went away.

possibly a bad fixture or the connection on the base of the fixture. A loose connection can cause the light to flicker even if it appears to be on. This is like turning the light off and on repeatedly. Wears out the filament. Quality of bulb can make the difference, also the small cadlelabra bulbs seem to burn out faster.

I replaced the horn on my 1990 Toyota 4Runner without much problem. The first step is to take off the front grill. (Look in your owners manual for replacing the head lights for instructions to do that). There are about 8 clips that must be undone to get the grill off. Then, on the right side of the car (your left if you are facing it), is your horn (little round black thing) simply remove, cut the wires, strip them, and connect your new horn. I replaced mine with an ArrOOOOOOOOGa horn. Sounds preety cool.

wow this is a tough one. you have to be careful and remember take your time. i had to change one in a 84 mercury grand marquis - my car had a metal frame enclosing it . 1. remove the door panel 2. remove the trim piece that looks like a windshield wiper blade, it touches the window 3 remove the large door glass 4. there may be a screw on the door frame holding the little window in place remove it now remove the screw holding it to the inside of the door panel if you see a rivet instead drill it out. 5. drop the small window frame in the door and pull it out through the large window opening. your car may have a window gasket also holding in place pull this off. this is a very difficult job so take your time .

If older then 95, it runs r12 refrigerant, and you need to have a pro use a recapture machine for the newer formula conversion. If 95 or newer, simply remove the low pressure line cap, plug on your 134 refrigerant w oil can, and fill with vehicle running and AC on. Do not over fill, most these DIY kits have a gauge, so keep it in the green.

Is it gasoline or diesel? If it is diesel, it is in the passenger side of the motor up by where the transmission mounts. It is held by three screws which can be a little tricky to get in and out since it is in a rather cramped space. It took me a little over an hour to change mine out. Since I do not have the gasoline engine, I can't say for sure about where the starter is on that make, but I would figure it would be in around the same location close to the flywheel.

You can try looking it up at Walker Exhaust website. They have nice diagrams of all their replacement systems and components. Just choose your vehicle and it will show you the system from the cat. converter all the way to the muffler.

Stands for Electronic Controlled Transmission. The button switches the transmission between Normal & Power Mode. The Power Mode changes the shift pattern to allow the transmission to up-shift at a higher RPM. For instance the Normal Mode up-shift will occur at 37 mph and the Power Mode up-shift will occur at 47 mph. Fuel economy will suffer in the Power Mode. Normally you would leave it in the Normal Mode unless you want a little more sporty feel.
