To flush a Toyota Previa radiator, first drain the antifreeze in the radiator into a bucket. This is done by turning the valve at the bottom of the radiator. Close the valve and add a radiator flush product purchased at an automotive parts store. Follow the directions on the bottle of flush. This usually means running the vehicle for a certain amount of time and then draining the radiator again.

put the turn signal on, get out of the car and see if it works :-)

This is not something you would want to do, as Duracool is extremely flammable and is not approved by the EPA. MR2s run very hot, and if you were to spring a leak somewhere, this could be potentially very dangerous.

well the reason my coil was not getting power on my 85 mr2 was cuz the timing belt snaped

The battery is hiding in the frunk (front trunk) under the spare tire in a recessed hole. You will need to remove the spare tire and the plastic cover to access it. Hope this helped Dan

No it doesn't, not until the 1991 US 1990 European,Japan years did the MR2 have an air bag. There wasn't a 1990 MR2 US Model.

If you are wondering where it is located, it is under the hood, underneath the spare tire.

In the front cargo/spare wheel area, usually behind the covers.

1. Locate the idle air valve on the engine--it's near the intake on the side of the engine.

2. Remove the electrical plug on the back of the idle air control valve with a screwdriver. Do not break the plastic tang holding the wiring harness to the sensor--that's what keeps the wiring harness from vibrating off the sensor.

3. Remove the screws or bolts holding the idle air-control valve on the block.

4. Hold the valve pointed downward, and spray the pointed end of the valve with carburetor cleaner, and wipe it clean. (Don't allow the carburetor cleaner to drip into the housing.) Repeat until all the carbon is removed.

5. Replace the idle air-control valve and attach the wiring harness.

6. Start the car to make sure it idles properly, and test-drive the car to make sure the engine does not shut off when you are turning a corner or coming to a stop, especially with the air-conditioning running. If it does, you will need to replace the idle air-control valve.

Would have been built for R12, can be converted to R134a.

Sounds like battery/alternator problems. Check battery first, it's cheaper to replace.

The alternator is located by the right side wheel, at the bottom of the timing belt. It is a difficult process to remove and replace. It must come out the top, so depending on the model of MR2, you may have to disconnect the cruise control and move it aside. You can move it out the bottom but you would have to remove the exhaust.

If you are going to start tinkering with your boost levels this is what you need to do:

Purchase the following:

An accurate boost gauge.

Electronic boost controller

Fuel Pressure regulator

Air Fuel Ratio gauge

Wide band O2 sensor

Have these parts PROFESSIONALLY installed and pay the money to get it tuned.

If you just get a boost controller put on and give it a crank your fuel will lean out and your engine will detonate.

Also it might not be a bad idea to get a fuel controller from Apexi. That will cost you though. So will the O2 sensor. You can get away without one, but you should just leave the boost alone after its tuned.

White smoke occurs when there is moisture evaporating from the exhaust system from sitting overnight or in cold weather. Your car may also emit white smoke if there is a head gasket leak and the car is burning coolant. In this case, you will need to see a technician immediately.

Unfortunately changing a cam belt in a twin cam engine is not easy to explain in this way.If you have access to a public libary you could find a manual there which might help. im sorry if this does not help but their are so many steps and variables that it would take pages upon pages to answer i hope someone can help

On the second generation MR2 and MR2 Turbo (1991 through 1995 USA, and 1991 through 1999 for the rest of the world), it is on the FRONT side of the engine, between the engine and the rear firewall of the cabin area. It is the right side of the car.
