You can find the thermostat under the vehical in front of the motor follow the top radiator hose to the bottom and its beneith car on the front of the motor

The outside driver and passenger mirrors are held by two bolts that are accessible by removing the plastic cover at the base of the mirror. To remove the cover place a small putty knife between door and the cover and gently pry it off. After removing the cover, you'll see two 12mm bolts(do not remove yet). Next you'll need to remove the inside upper door panel. There are two Phillips screws holding the panel to the door. First screw is at the door latch/lock assembly. The second is locaterd behind a quarter sized plastic cover near the lower middle section of the panel. After removing the screws pry the lower section and then pull up(the lower section of this panel is attached with push clips). Before you can completely remove the panel. disconnect the red and white clips holding the lock and lever rods and the electrical. With the panel removed, peel back the clear pastic sheet near the hinge and there next to the wiring harness, you'll see a small white connector approx. 9 inches below the mirror bracket. Disconnect and now you can remove the two 12mm bolts holding the mirror to the door. Installation is reverse order.

it should be above your climate contol area.

you will see a button between the 'rear heat' and the other switch.

press that button in, and remove the cap on top and you will find your main fuse box.

You need to remove the cupholder*4 screws* and lower the cigaret lighter and cup holder underneath are two bolts,remove the two bolts.Remove the fuse cover and you will see four screws remove the two outer screws and pull out the radio unit and the vents. When you remove the radio cluster will show two screws holding instrument cluster bezel.Near the the door is a vent held by clips use a flat screwdriver to remove the vent.Just pull the instrument cluster bezel and it will come off.

There are three temperature sensors on a 95 Previa engine. They are located on the left front side of the engine. The lower one is somwhat accessable from under the vehicle but access to the other two will require removal of the passenger seat and the access cover under the seat. A Haynes manual is the best way to go about getting info.

if i can remember right and most Toyota are the same around the 1993 and 1996 range ,you will find the signal relay switch behind the dash ,

It is under a panel above the heater controls in the center of the dash . A small thumb latch holds the panel down. Push up on the panel while holding down the latch

Again underneath the vehicle about 3 feet from front of vehicle and slightly to the left side of vehicle.

Replace the light bulb. Tail lights are usually dual filament, 2 filaments in one bulb.

mine I use 35 psi for the 2 front tires and 40 psi for the 2 rear tires.

Open your trunk | remove the lugguage cover holder from both sides |

Side panels are attached using snap on so just snug it out carefully.

Then you can access your rear speakers easily.

I also put some industrial wall insulators (you can buy some from Home Depot or Lowes) and stuff it inside the panels. It reduces road noise and vibrations/ratteling sounds.

where is the heater core in a 1992 Toyota previa

under the driver seat you gotta lift it up. open the hatch to the engine so you can see the throttle body. There will be the intake tube, aprox. having 2-3 other tubes connecting onto it. There may be a leak in your intake tube, so replace that. I had discovered the same thing and my previa won't stall anymore.

sounds like the choke is sticking on

hi there the thermostat is located right on the bottom of the engine next to the oil filter. i believe the housing is held with 2x 12mm bolts which once removed (carefull of hot water) you can then remove/replace the thermostat. i would seriously consider taking more advice as the previa cooling system is very very sensitive to air locks and prone to over heat when just filled with coolant

I have discovered the same problem for my 93 previa lx. One solution to solve that is when you're driving lock your doors, then when leaving manually open and lock it (w. out using the button). If you turned off your motor and locked your doors w. the switch. The car alarm will go off randomly.

I'm not sure this would work. but you can try to ask the dealer to remove the alarm. But using my method above, will keep the van from going off =].

Unless the actual arm is broken, I would just replace the rubber. You can order it from Toyota, and its way cheaper than a whole wipe arm.

It's under the drivers seat BUT there is a cover that has 3 bolts two are under the carpet between the two bolts holding the drivers seat favoring the left side more. the other is on top under the carpet too. There is no really good access to these FREAKING bolts due to the carpet. The bolts are 12mm. and it is MUCH EASIER TO JUST REMOVE THE DRIVERS SEAT. That is 13mm.

Just look at the E.C.M. and look toward the back in that hole. It is hard to see.

Hi, I have just purchased a 96 Previa so can help you a little. The engine oil dipstick is located under the front passenger seat, you need to use pull the lever on the right hand side of the seat to move the back of the seat forward, then there is a yellow lever pull that and the seat will tip back, pull the carpet back and you will see a locking catch, turn to open and you will see the dip stick, hope this helps you out a bit

Most antenna in cars can just be unscrewed at the base. You may have to disconnect a wire at the base though. Check your owner's manual or a car repair manual for more details.
