On my 1994/1995 Previa, the 30 amp fusible link located in the lower left corner in the center of th glare shield (the top pop-up cover on the top of the dashboard ) blew when in a heavy rainstorm. I had just turned the washer/wiper switch from LO to HI/ When the fusible link fuse was replaced, the windshiejd wipers worked on the OFF/INT/LO positions, and blew again when switched to HI. I replaced the fuse and put a xection of rubber tubing below the switch so I can not get to the HI position. Now I an looking for a front wiper washer switch. .

Turn the wiper on and cut the ignition power once the arm is in the 12 O'clock position (straight up and down) for easier access to the wiper. Disconnect rubber washer fluid hose from wiper. Lift arm off of the windshield, and notice where wiper connects to the arm, there's a small plastic locking lever. Squeeze to release, then remove wiper. may take some wiggling back and forth till it comes off. Once off, you can either replace the wiper refills, or replace the entire wiper blades with new ones. Note: the oem wiper blades have hoses on them which washer fluid flows through and squirts onto the windshield. So if you go with aftermarket blades, you will lose your wiper washer feature, and fluid will squirt everywhere unless you cap off the rubber hoses.

I am not sure the pedal was sticking exactly. I inherited this van from my dad, who passed away. Before he did, he said that he was having trouble with the clutch, but my mom is not sure what he meant. The trouble seemed to be sporadic. Fast forward about a year, and two days ago the van became very difficult to shift as I was driving through town. I reached my destination and parked; when I left and tried to shift from 2nd to 3rd the van would not shift at all, and would never shift (into any gear) again. (I did get it into neutral but then would not go on into any other gear.) It is in a garage now and they say it is either the master cylinder or slave cylinder for the clutch. These vans do not have clutch cables but rather have hydraulic clutch systems. My local garage is charging $225 for the repair, including parts.

pop-out the 4 small square covers(2 in front, 2 in rear) from the base of chair. Bolts will then be exposed for removal. The base comes in two parts so make note which side is which.

Disconnect electrical connector under driver seat that connects to seat belt device.

Remove the passengers side front seat. remove the metal engine cover after pulling carpet back, remove the long metal cover covering the spark plugs and wires.

It's actually a lot easier than most people think. Take everything out of your glove box, than take glove box cover off by simply removing two plastic screws that hold glove box on the bottom, remove glove box cover gently and let it hang. Straight ahead you can see filter cover, remove it.. pull out old filter and insert new one.. That is it! Takes more time to unload the glove box.

There is only one type, ATF fluid. It's a universal fluid... You can buy Toyota ATF fluid from any auto online store (like www.toyotapartstore.com) or just buy Supertech ATF, Prestone ATF, they all do the same job. There are several grades but generally one superceeds another so you can't go far wrong.

I've used both Toyota ATF and SuperTech ATF. This time, it's the Prestone ATF.

You should be able to find a shop manual at your local library with the right info...make copies as they are usually only in the REFERENCE section....good luck:) It's right next to the engine and transmission, where they bolt together. It looks like any other starter. You can start from the fuel filter and look up.

Our 1995 Previa has the fuse box on the dash. There is a latch under the dash right in the middle. The whole center curved area lifts up.

If it's cold out, the rubber seals around the door can freeze up, and it wont open. But if it's not cold out, then I would either power unlock all doors, or unlock via key. Open from inside, and have someone on the outside simultaneously trying to open the door. On the outside for leverage, and just in case the child safety lock is on, and from the inside just in case the lock mechanism didnt open up all the way. The handle could also be broken, so it would have to be removed. But I wouldn't damage it unless I had access to another door handle. Hope this helps.

you replace the complete rear brake system; be it drums, shoes, and mounting hardware, or discsand calipers. Identify your rear brake system.

disconnect battery, disconnect the starter, disconnect the starter mount bracket from the engine and you can access the egr valve no need to lower the engine good luck

Under the seat you will find a yellow tab. Push up on it and lift the front of the seat. The back hooks in so as you lift it and pull forward it should come out. Be careful not to break the wires under there. Good luck.

The outside driver and passenger mirrors are held by two bolts that are accessible by removing the plastic cover at the base of the mirror. To remove the cover place a small putty knife between door and the cover and gently pry it off. After removing the cover, you'll see two 12mm bolts(do not remove yet). Next you'll need to remove the inside upper door panel. There are two Phillips screws holding the panel to the door. First screw is at the door latch/lock assembly. The second is locaterd behind a quarter sized plastic cover near the lower middle section of the panel. After removing the screws pry the lower section and then pull up(the lower section of this panel is attached with push clips). Before you can completely remove the panel. disconnect the red and white clips holding the lock and lever rods and the electrical. With the panel removed, peel back the clear pastic sheet near the hinge and there next to the wiring harness, you'll see a small white connector approx. 9 inches below the mirror bracket. Disconnect and now you can remove the two 12mm bolts holding the mirror to the door. Installation is reverse order.

Probably the functions, running lights, reverse, brake, blinker, and a ground.

put the front end up in the air. remove wheels and release suspension. You may need to disconnect hubs and/or swinging arm.

release the suspension at the top end (3 nuts/screws) accessible on the passenger side by removing the panel in the glove box.

This job has some potential dangers if fitting new struts and swapping over the coils, and is best done by a professional. If you need more info on how to do this job then I would suggest you have a professional do it or a more experienced friend work with you.

Try looking under the large semi circular panel in the centre of the dash top, the release clip is underneath the front of it. Good luck.
