put the vehicle on jack and reinforce it on jack stands.remove tires and use brake cleaner on metal parts only-need a dust mask on for brake dust-let dryand unlock caliper with wrench lower bolt(believe 14mm,but make sure),remove brake pads and hardware.remove caliper from bracket.unlock caliper bracket bolts(believe 2 or 3 )the rotor slips out right then.make sure you bring it in for correct replacmt,reverse steps to install,clean and check for good grease points;and movemt of parts and pads,before finish.parts store would have repair manual steps,this has a dual piston caliper(front),basic steps is all you need, if can't find your manual at store----good luck!.

Depends on how hard you drive, what surfaces you drive on, if you've kept the tyre pressure as it should be and how important it is for you to have really good tyres. A fairly general rule is that a tyre should be replaced when there's less than 3 mm of tread depth left. At that value the tyre's ability to displace water will be compromised, putting you at a greater risk of hydroplaning. It's inadvisable to replace only one tyre, they should at least be replaced in pairs, front or rear. Doing only one increases the risk of the car spinning out during braking. Another recommendation is to keep the best tyres at the rear. As the car brakes the rear wheels will go lighter, and with less weight on them they need to be grippier than the front not to break free. If they break free the car will spin out. Regardless of how much driving you do car tyres will become stiffer and drier as they age. It's not that much of an issue in warm climates, but a sudden onset of frost can render an old tyre pretty much useless even if its got plenty of tread left.

The port is located under the dash on the drivers side. It is located to the right of the steering column. Should be black and pointing downward.

There is an oil filler cap under the panel, under the drivers seat, the dip stick is also there. If you change your oil, or if it is low, you need to add it here. There is also a tank under the hood for oil, that adds automatically as needed.

the diagnostics connector can be found under the passenger seat alongside the ecu. Actually that's the diagnostic, what the guy wants is the OBD2, not the same thing. That plug can be found if you feel in the middle of the dashboard above the A/C controls for a clip that unclips the whole middle center of the dash and under there you can find all the fuses and the OBD2 plug

The belt that you refer to is a self adjusting steel belt that is inside the engine. It does not need replacement.

right in front of the crankshaft pulley beside the oil filter....is the timing chain cover(two timing chain...#1 on the crankshaft sprocket, #2 on the cam sprocket. Need to lower the engine to access the timing chain. Timing chain, not necessary to be replace, unless they broke loose.Other than that it remain with the life of the van.

Replace one at a time until fuse blows and at least you will know where to further investigate

ANSWER 2: mine started doing that after i put an aftermarket CD player in and used the factory ground wire to hook it up. attaching the unit's ground to chassis fixed the problem.

well pop your hood. you're going to need a 12mm socket to unbolt the battery post so then you can remove your battery. that's all. just make sure you remove the + and the - post so you can take out the battery.

The engine and transmission has to be removed together as a complete assembly to access the head gasket. This is done by lowering the engine and transmission from under the vehicle. You will have to lift the van up on a hoist to accomplish this. To add to the previous reply, it is possible to change the head gasket without removing the engine & gearbox (I know because I've done it). However you do need to undo the two main engine mounts and lower the engine slightly using a trolley jack under the sump. This is to enable you to get to the inlet manifold bolts that are hidden under the fixed section of floor between the front seats. Before I started the job I got the car up off the ground (rear wheels on ramps, front end on axle stands), which made it easier and a better height for working.

The engine coolant sensor is located on the top of the engine on the right hand side at the front. To get at it, remove the passanger seat; the bolts holding the seat are covered with plastic caps. After removing the seat, lift up the carpet. It might be necessary to remove the plastic trim piece holding the carpet by the door. Remove the black steel plate held with two bolts, this serves to hold the carpet in place. With the carpet up you will see a hatch, under which is the engine. The coolant sensor will be on the extreme right of the engine, and may be easily removed.

The sensor is a thermistor, the resistance of which changes with temperature. With the engine cold, it should read somewhere around 1800 ohms. With the engine warm, it should be in the vicinity of a few hundred ohms.

you have to find out which o2 sensor you need first. when you find out which sensor by getting the code with an obdII scanner. it will say o2 sensor bank 1 sensor 1 or o2 sensor bank 1 sensor 2 (#1 is in the exhaust pipe closest to the header or exhaust manifold assy, #2 is also in the exhaust pipe but is after the catalytic converter) buy the correct part based on the code. replacing it once found is simple. remove the 2 12mm nuts that hold it in, slide it out of the pipe, remove the old gasket, and unplug the sensor from the harness. then replace the gasket, put the new sensor in where the old one came out, install and tighten the nuts, then plug it in. clear the codes with the scantool or by removing the negative battery terminal for a minute or so then replacing it, and you're all set

There is no cabin ari filter on a 1991 Totyota Previa

Howdy, the fuse box is located under the panel above the climate control panel. Depress a/c button. Above the a/c button on the underside of the lip of panel the is a button the you push up at the same time lifting on the panel. Good luck. pabblo@rockrounds.com

If your heating switch broke on the heater of a Toyota Previa 92, it will need changed. You can find a replacement at auto part stores.
