How do you replace the antenna on a 1997 Geo Metro which broke in the automated car wash?
Looks like you'll have to remove the radio and just trace the lead back to the antenna. It either will have screws holding it in or a fitting around the base that has to be unscrewed. Check with Autozone or Advance for a replacement and see if your sales person will come out and look at it. They should be able to tell you how it comes out. I've always tied a strong piece of nylon string around the end of the old antenna lead before removing it. This way, you can tie it to the new lead and pull it back in the car. there are two screws on the outside of the car that screws the antenna to the car take them out and pull the wire out a little cut the wire then tape your new wire plug to the end of the old cut wire then carefully pull the wire through from the inside by pulling the old wire through and it will bring the new one to the radio
How do you change the cabin filter on your 2002 Thunderbird?

What is the check engine light on a 2007 Toyota solara mean?
Check your owners manual for a more complete description.
The light may be advising you of an engine sensor failure. It may also simply be telling you the gas cap wasn't tightened the last time the tank was filled. Check that first. If the cap was left loose it may take a couple of engine starts before the system resets the light. If the cap is tight, drive to an auto supply store that will loan you a code reader. Plug the reader into the port under the dash (to the right of the steering wheel) to find out what the car's computer thinks is wrong.
By the way, don't confuse the Check Engine light with the Maint light. The latter is simply a reminder that the vehicle is due for an oil change. It will blink at engine start 4500 miles after being reset then will stay on solid at 5000 miles. Change the oil, reset the light.
Cheers
How do you replace the oil filter located on a 1997 Saturn SL2?
Raise the front of the vehicle. Open oil fill cap on engine. Open drain plug on bottom of engine with wrench and drain oil out. Behind the engine on the passenger side is the oil filter. Place a filter removal tool on it and rotate counter-clockwise to loosen. Once loose you can spin off by hand. Watch your eyes. Clean off the surface and apply some new oil to the seal of the new filter and spin on. Hand tighten as hard as you can, do not use a tool to tighten unless you don't have the strength to give it a good twist. Replace the drain plug in the oil pan and refill the engine with oil. I changed my oil filter on my 1997 Saturn sl2 once and decided that I would not do it again. It is in an cramped place. It took me a long time to get it out, whereas an oil change company does it in about ten minutes.
Changing the oil on a '97 SL2 can be a bit of a pain, but really it's one of the easier cars to change. In comparison to, say, one of the late '90s Ford Tauruses, where you had to reach around the usually piping-hot exhaust pipe as it snaked down from the engine and along the undercarriage. The first answer is dead-on, but a small tip: if you lay a plastic grocery bag on top of the axle housing directly underneath the oil filter, you can avoid some really nasty dripping. The bag will act as a sort of conduit for the oil coming out of the filter to run down, dripping it straight into your oil catch-pan. Then when you're finished, just pull the bag off and all you have is a few drips to wipe off. Works like a charm for me.

Your 1997 Toyota Rav4 acts like it has a rev limiter and won't go over 2000 rpm's when its warm?
Check the engine for codes. The engine may be trying to protect itself if there's a fault somewhere. Also check your throttle cable for binding or other problems, if you've got one. Definitely check the throttle body for problems too.

It depends whether it is petrol or diesel...If its diesel and is black smoke there is nothing to worry about. If its white smoke it could be the head gasket going, or a fuel problem.
If its petrol it could be something a bit serious like a head gasket, exhaust, oxygen sensors or dirty injectors.

If you can access the internal portion of the broken pipe, insert a hacksaw blade and cut through the threads at a perpendicular angle. Be careful not to damage the underlying threads in the pipe in the wall. Then use a flat bladed screwdriver to collapse the damaged pipe at the cut you made, by prying. You may have to make several cuts.
Where is the coolant fan relay on a 92 sentra?
On a 1992 Nissan Sentra, the coolant fan relay is typically located in the engine compartment, near the fuse box. It is usually mounted on the driver's side or near the front of the vehicle, close to the radiator. To locate it, you may need to refer to the vehicle's service manual for the exact position and identification. Always ensure the engine is off and cool before attempting to access electrical components.
When should you use overdrive on your automatic?
most of the time it saves gas but you should use low gear when towing or going down a steep hill
How often do you have to replace your clutch?
It depends on how you drive.
If you shift smoothly, it should last you a while, at least 100k miles.
If you are not smooth, i.e. the car jerks a lot and you "burn" the clutch more often by downshifting when you're at high rpms for example, then you can burn out the clutch in less then a year.
How do you open a broken glove box?
I dont know what you mean by broken but if the handle i broken off and there is just a space where the handle would go, you can definitely open that, mine is like that.
First you put your finger inside the space and you will be able to feel 2 pins or something, one will be facing right and one left, they have a gap between them. You press them both at the same time and it will open.
Hope that helps
No, I wouldn't think so. I have a question, though? Why are you changing the pan gasket?
What is the yellow warning light on a 2006 Toyota rav 4 mean?
That's probably your check engine light. Take your car to an Autozone, Advance Auto, or O'Reilly auto parts and they'll check it for free.
Sounds wild, I had a crx that I put a B16A1 into and if the engine was cold and you tried to high rev it it would lock out anything above 3000 rpms until you reset the ECU. With out the engine code this question would be hard to answer, you might try reseting the ECU by pulling the 10Amp hazard fuse on the passenger strut tower and leaving it out for 20 seconds, then see if the problem persists. But without a diagnostic trouble code it could be an ignitor in the distributor, a faulty fuel pump, or main relay. Good Luck My CRX does the exact same thing, My problem was that i had rust in my gass tank that would clog the filter in the tank. and on top of that i had a bad fuel pump. i replaced the fuel pump and rinsed out the Gas tank and i was fine. But Also an Issue in the ECU will cause that problem as explained above. hope i could help. Good Luck
