If you can't get help financing tubal reversal because of your credit being so poor are there other alternatives?

Answer

I don't know about financing options for an elective surgery, but if your creadit history is poor and you don't have a lot of savings currently, you may want to consider the cost of raising a child and whether or not it's a realistic idea.

I can't help with the financing issue but I thought this answer was rude. For raising a child most expenses come to you one at a time $100 here $100 there. But the cost of a tubal reversal is a fee you have to pay all at once, and really not many people these days have $7500 laying around. I have 2 children of my own and I had a tubal and want a reversal. I have never had to borrow money or anything for my 2 kids I have raised them and paid for everything on my own. My mom and family of course bought them presents for their birthdays and Christmas and stuff. But the regular day to day living, doctors, day cares, and private school I pay. I too have poor credit and can not get mine reversed (because I'm about to marry a great man I met a year ago)either due to not having $7500 laying around. While the cost of the child is great, it is more attainable than paying a large sum at once.

There is a facility in North Carolina that does strictly reversals. They have a payment option for those of us who do not have loads of cash just lay'n around. You have to pay in advance of course. Kinda like a Christmas savings account you cannot withdraw from until It's time to go shopping. It's about $5400.
