Absolutely a scan can tell the difference within 3 weeks at this stage. The heartbeat would be visible at both 7 and 10 weeks (which you would be pregnancy wise). Measurements are taken to date the pregnancy so you need to ask the doctor/tech/nurse how many weeks pregnant you are.

How can you tell if your 1966 mustang is a GT?
and front disk brakes. All of these things could be added "aftermarket" and since there is nothing in the car serial number there is no way for sure to tell if the car is a "factory ordered" GT or if someone added parts after the fact.
A way to take a good guess if it a factory GT is to poke your fingers in the holes where the exhaust hangs from the undercarriage. "Specifically, this is an extra reinforcement bracket on the forward side of the access hole. All Mustangs have the little bracket toward the rear of the access hole, toward the rear spring, but the one hole that faces the front of the car is present only on true dual exhaust Mustangs. Finally, the GT had a tight ratio steering box HCC-AX (manual steering) or HCC-AW (power steering). Again, the dual exhaust could be ordered as a separate option, as well as the tight ratio steering box,, or added after market although few wrench heads that make their cars into " GT Clones" bother to change the steering box. So these checks give you a better idea and good guess but the bottom line is there is NO sure way to tell if a car is a factory GT unless someone saved the original order form and invoice.... there are a few more checks, and other info for the later year cars, but for that info you will have to go to our website http://www.mustangdreams.com

It is very popular for people restoring their cars to "upgrade" them to GT lookalikes in the process. There is a company called Marti auto works that You can order a Marti report in which they go back to the build records for the cars and try to determine what came on your car originally. Basically they are trying to recreate the build sheet originally used when the car was created. There are several prices for several different levels of their reports, and basically the more you pay the more they dig and the more information they have and the more accurate your report will be. I believe they usually include some interesting statistics about how many cars came with this color code/engine/tranny combination.

Sorry, Marti reports do not go back to 66. There are dual exhaust hanger mounts under the back seat with a reinforcement. No real way to tell unless the owner has original build sheet. All the information from first poster is very good. Irishmustang

No. Although too much triglycerides is harmful to health, they are nonetheless needed in the body. It would not be possible to have a triglyceride count of 0 mg/dL.
Because a pregnancy is counted from the first day of the last menstrual period, but the actual conception doesn't take place til about the 14th day after the start of the last period. So while you're physically 5 weeks pregnant, the medical field considers you 7 weeks pregnant. It's for accuracy of dating.
Determining pregnancy start dates has a bit of guess work involved. At seven weeks I wouldn't be overly concerned unless you are a heavy smoker/drinker, which could easily show as slowing the growth process of the baby. Talk to your doctor!

Doctors are scientists, not psychics. Your doctor was making his best guess with what information he had. Chances are the scan provided more detailed information and is more correct. The exact date of conception is nearly impossible to figure out unless the woman can say with certainty.
Can a dating scan for pregnancy be as much as a week off when done before 10 weeks?
Yes it can be sometimes when your around 6-7 weeks into your pregnancy. At 10 weeks, based on the size of the foetus and conception date a pretty accurate date can be arrived at. Yes it can if you have a long cycle. My date from my period was 23rd September but I had a 36 day cycle and my scan date was 4th October.
That means it is the date conceived (or within 48 hours of). It is never right on, but within a week of. Go by what the ultrasound says. No, if your ultrasound says 17 weeks and 2 days that would be that date plus 2 extra weeks, that is around the time of your last period, unless you have irregular periods or conceived straight after a miscarriage or something. The length of pregnancy is always measured from your last period even by ultrasound.

EDD is ESTIMATED. If done by scan is 38 weeks from conception. An EDD is based on the LMP (last menstrual period) and not the date of conception. The ultrasound measurements are comparing the baby to the expected size of other babies at the same gestational age. The earlier the ultrasound is done in the pregnancy, the more accurate it will be. It is highly unlikely you did anything wrong. Some pregnancies are just not meant to be. Sometimes the placenta (afterbirth) does not become well attachedm, or does not start producing the hormones it should. Sometimes there is an illness affecting the baby. None of this is your fault.
Don't do it! You were raised by your parents for 18 years and you can wait until you finish school. That's not asking so much. Don't be in too big a rush into marriage, because trying to finish school and getting married is extremely difficult. Also, I am sure your father would love to take part in your wedding plans. If your boyfriend loves you he won't mind waiting until you are 19. My mother died a year ago this July, and I am so glad I stayed with her until I was 21 years old before I got married (you don't have to wait that long.) When you get older you realize just what an impact your parents have on you and if you can't see it from a mature level then you are missing out on a lot.
