How do the wrestlers avoid injury and do they really bleed?

Avoiding Injury and BleedingThey either cut themselves or they have lil caps of fakes blood
  • Under general cirvumstances, when a wrestler bleeds (like in main event PPVs) they use a technique called "blading." This is exactly what it sounds like. They remove a blade from their pads or tape or the ref hands them one when the camera is not focused on them. Then they slice themselves open just above the hariline (no veins or arteries to hit).

However, sometimes it is purely accidental (nose bleeds every few weeks.) The Eddie Guerro vs JBL mathc at judgment day last year was a mix of both. JBL hit Eddie witht he chair as he was blading, causing the blade to go too deep, in the wrong spot. Guerro almost died from blood loss, but it persisted and gave us one heck of a show.

Some pretty boys refuse to blade themselves though and just use a satchel of fake blood. It ruins it for everyone else. (Randy Orton, just before he gets catapulted into the Elimination Chamber wall by Triple H, New Years REvolution 2005)

  • WWE superstars in the old days didn't cut themselves so why do they now?
  • News flash, they can't blade themselves anymore. In the 80's and earlier they could, but now it can cause diseases from the blades.

Do the rivalries continue even outside the ring?

No it's all gimmicks. For instance, after the ladder match at Wrestlemania X, Shawn Michaels and Razor Ramon were still really good friends even though on TV, they hated each other.

It depends really, some wrestlers will hate each other, when Andre The Giant had a rivaliry with Hulk Hogan, they didn't hate each other on TV, but when the Rockers split up, Shawn Michaels hated Marty Jannetty for real too, and tried to kill him apprently.

Whether wrestlers like each other or not has nothing to do with in-ring storylines.

Rivalries in the ring are for in the ring. Rivalries outside the ring are they're own personal lives. You don't have to like everyone just cuz you work with them. Hogan/Savage, Bret Hart/Shawn Michaels all had personal problems with each other outside the ring and those rivalries are still going on today.

Mr. Hounderz

No it's just a storyline

NO SHAWN MICHAELS DIDNT HATE JANETTY, HE JUST TEMED WITH HIM ON RAW

I personally don't want to know what's going to happen, that starts taking half the enjoyment out of the shows. tna is starting to be known by the wwe i mean the took the wwe,s chanelfor gods sack but vince is smart when the hade to move to use he made it a good thing he made it a home coming but besides that mabey a draft lottory

What is a car spoiler?

A car spoiler is an aerodynamic device mounted on a vehicle's rear to disrupt airflow and reduce lift. This helps improve traction and stability at higher speeds. Some spoilers are purely cosmetic while others have a functional purpose.

What does a spoiler do?

It keeps the car from coming off of the ground when going really fast.(in race applications with more than 30 degrees of deflection.)

Typically most spoilers on OEM cars are meant for drag co-efficiency. Not traction or road handling. Although some increased performance may occur it is initially designed to deflect enough air to decrease wind resistance (drag). So less duty to the engine to maintain speeds and gas efficiency above 40mph. As speed increases in theory so does the co-efficiency of the airfoil/splitter/spoiler/wing. In layman's its removing or disrupting the air from the surface of the car to move efficiently.
