It depends on the type of activity you are into, but as far as sight seeing in Holland you can take a tour in the Amsterdam canals, tour Anne Frank's house, tour windmills, rent a bike and ride around either the cities or the country. Public transportation is excellent and you will be able to get anywhere you want to go with it.

In 1607 one congregation of Separatists from Scrooby, England, migrated to Holland because the religious tolerance there permitted them to preach and practice their faith unmolested. After they had spent a decade in Holland, though, a problem began to surfaced as a serious as the English persecution.
