To me there are 2 different types of love when it comes to relationships. There is I love you and I am in love with you. I love as in I love my mom and my bestfriends. Also I've been dating this guy and he is great its been a couple months, i love him. I'm in love with you as in I have been dating this guy for a considerable amount of time, I've never felt this way before, I think he is the one. I personally only think you can be in love once. That would be kinda like your soul mate. I love halo 3 alot. Halo is better then COD.

- because he doesn't have a real reason. But that all depends on what he told you. Sometimes when we get dumped, the signs are there before the deed is done. Now you have the time to yourself to analyze the relationship and remember little things he said to you or things he did that might have done that are evident of a future breakup. Did he ever tell you that there was something he didn't like about things in the relationship? Have you been spending less time together? Are the telephone conversations shorter than usual? These are some signs.

It is possible to be friends after a split-up if the relationship was really friendship based and you both discovered that later on. However, if it was a romantic whirl, then no, it's not a good idea to remain friends because one of the two involved always has deeper feelings and it would be like pouring salt into an open wound. You can't help your son. Breaking-up is like grieving over a loved one that has died. It's a road all of us must go through alone and at our own pace. It strengtens character. I know it hurts you terribly to see your son so heart-broken and miserable, but before you know it he'll meet another nice girl (or get back together with his former girlfriend) and all will be well again. If in doubt think back to the days when you were younger. I know I was very upset when I loved someone that either didn't love me back or broke-up with me or I broke up with him. Tell your son you're there if he ever wants to talk about it. Then wait! That's the hardest thing a parent has to do. Believe me when I say he won't let this girl stop his life from going forward. Give him a chance to go through that grieving process.
