How do you fix a jammed door on a 1968 Buick Electra 225?

ON my 1967 Buick Electra 225 the driver door jammed and both the inside handle and outside handle felt like there was nothing connected. One day I peered into the window and could see a little metal tab on the left side that I could see was connected to the door mechanism. I just slid a flat head screwdriver down the window crack and pulled the tab up, back into the original position. It worked perfect. However, I've found that what jammed my door was that if the handles are pulled while locked it jams. Hope that helps.

How do you change a low beam passenger's side headlight on a 1987 Buick Electra Park Avenue?

There is a screw on the front support holding the coolant reservoir in place. Remove the screw, and use pliers to remove the return hose from the radiator cap. Take the coolant return reservoir out (may be tight due to the battery location, if you cannot remove it, removal of the battery will be necessary) and set it aside. Reach inside the hole, remove the plug from the back of the 9004 bulb, and there will be a plastic ring around the bulb housing, twist it counterclockwise and remove it. Pull the burned out bulb, and replace it with the new bulb. Repeat the steps to reassemble.

1993 Buick hood latch stuck?

I had the same problem on a 1993 Buick Lesabre. I could not pop the hood using convention methods(handle on driver side). I have good news . . . in my case it isn't nearly as difficult as I had researched. It turns out all I had to do was take a flat screwdriver underneath the car to reach the latch from behind the radiator. First take the grill off. Once you get the grill off you will be able to see from the front where the latch is. It will be nearly centered from the front of the hood about 10 inches back and 1 inch below the top of the hood. If you look carefully you will see a hole in the middle of the hood latch device. In my case I could not pop the latch from this hole from the front(although I hear it may be possible). Once you find the latch from the front grill side, go up underneath the car and reach up from behind the radiator with your flathead screwdriver and try to feel for the latch with it. You may need to be VERY patient because you will not be able to see what you're doing. Don't drop your screwdriver.

After I popped the hood, I found that the latch had simply become dislocated and was an easy fix. The whole fix took about an hour. About 30 minutes to find the latch from underneath the car and about 30 minutes fix it.

My 1993 Buick LeSabre hood now pops easily by gently pulling the handle on the driver's side.
