Sometimes the blower is always on, at a low speed. If you have a system that turns off the blower completely, then you should hear nothing.

Drain the radiator and dispose of the coolant as it is toxic to animals. Remove the top radiator hose. Remove the water inlet. Pull the thermostat from under the inlet, and replace. Reverse the procedure to finish the instillation.

That little black chip with the metal contact point in your key has to be in center of key and the contact points should be clean. If security light goes on and car doesn't start don't keep trying to start it, wait about 3 minutes for security light to turn off, and clean the contact points on the chip in the key and you should make sure it is not shifting to one side of the key.

The valve cover has to be unbolted from the head to be removed. Any hoses or brackets in the way needs to be removed, then lift the valve cover off. You may have to pry gently in several places to loosen the cover. The old gasket may have to be scraped to get any pieces off of the cover and head. Reverse the process to install the valve cover gasket on the 96 LeSabre.

On my 97 Lesabre Limited the paint code is on a sticker that is affixed to the top of the spare tire cover in the trunk. There are lots of parts numbers on the sticker but the paint code is the character string at the lower left. If the car is two-toned there will be an upper (U) code and a lower (L) code. Otherwise there will be just one paint code. Go to any of several websites to match your numerical code to a description of the color.

You would have to pull the gas tank to get to the fuel pump I think. This is not an impossible job at home but could be very difficult.

UNDER THE DASH THERE ARE ABOUT 6 SCREWS TAKE THEM OUT AND THERE WILL BE A BUNCH OF WIRES. ONE OF THE WIRES WILL HAVE A SILVER CAN PLUGED INTO IT MAKE SURE IT IS THE RIGHT ONE BY TRUNING ON YOUR BLINKERS AND LISTEN TO WHAT ONE IS CLICKING AND REPLACE IT.

In order to break a married segment in Sabre you must contact the carrier in which the segment is from and explain why it must be broken. They will then break the married segments.

four bolts usually in top at back of motor under exhaust crossover pipe one above starter one in back of motor throught the motor and screwed into trans use flashflight, look above pass axle to where the flywheel would be.

Left side of dash, remove panel for the fuse box then unclip fuse box and push it forward. Flasher is in a retaining clip attached to the steering column.

Because there is a problem with the ABS. Replacing the brakes and wheel bearings will not fix this problem. Seek professional help to diagnose the problem.

On the Horn Pad which is in the Center of your steering wheel there are Electrical Contacts that are separated by foam rubber-AFTER time the rubber disintegrates(goes bad) & the con---tacts make contact & your horn starts making Noise.IF yr good U can make strips 2 go in between so yr horn will blow.

Cheap gas, try putting the highest octane, believe me it will make a difference.

try a 100k rehostat for finding optimal value.

The calipers are threaded and screw out.

I think the light assembly screws out from the inside of the trunk.

Remove the horn pad. - screws on back side Remove the c-clip at the center of the wheel. Remove the large nut. Remove the steering wheel - A steering wheel puller is best, but if not available - locate your hands on the dash side of the steering wheel, palm side up (facing you). Bring your hands toward you, hitting the back of the wheel with constant firm hits (left palm, right palm, left palm...) You may want to wear gloves, but trust me this works (I repoed for many years) Once the wheel is off you will see a torque screw holding the ignition in place. Remove the screw and the ignition will pull right out (towards the passenger door). Just put the new one in, replace the torque screw and put everything back in reverse order. CAUTION: If the torque screw is left out the ignition will just pull out. CAUTION: If the c-clip is left off, the nut will back off and the steering wheel will fall off. This may sound complicated, but once you start, you will see it is very easy. Good Luck and make sure you put everything back.

I am having a similar problem with my 99 Regal LS. Sometimes my wife drives my car to work, a couple of times when she was ready to drive home the battery was completely dead! Needless to say she wasn't pleased! I had to come and remove the battery, take it to nearest auto parts store for a quick charge then reinstall the battery. At first I thought this might be caused by the door lights, However, It was odd I never had this problem when I drove the car. I will elaborate more on this point in a minute. I started doing some research and found some helpful info on another automotive forum message board. Key items I searched for on the other message board are "battery rundown protection" and "retained accessory power". I found someone with a 98 Pontiac that was having a dead battery problem. It turns out an amplfier in the stock stereo system was staying on causing a parasitic drain on the battery. This could be relevant to my situation because my wife listens to radio going to work and has a habit of not turning it off. She uses the auto cutoff feature that cuts it off when you open the car door. Let me know if any of this sounds relevant in your situation. It is always difficult to diagnose extremely intermittent problems.
