205/65R16 this is for a 2.5 liter 4 cyl (2.5, 2.5 S, 2.5 SL) 215/55R17 is for 3.5 LTR 6 CYL (3.5 SE)

This can be rather tuff........you must grab the hood release cable from the underside of the vehicle. Sometimes, you can trip open the hood latch with a long screwdriver, if you know where to do it.

the water pump moves coolant through the entire system. this means the engine, radiator, heater core, and any other hoses or components that require coolant. the radiator is where most heat is transfered into the atmosphere by air flow from the car moving, or an auxilllary fan. the cooling system also contains a thermostat. this is a mechanical object placed at a radiator hose and the engine block. when coolant reaches a certain temperature, a spring on the t-stat causes the valve to open allowing coolant flow to complete.

Put the key in the key hole near the door handle, gently turn one way to lock and the other way to unlock. Lift the door handle and the door will open. If it does not open, turn key the other direction. Really!? Not that tough.

The trouble with this one is you'll need to use pop-rivets and I suppose you'll need a special tool for that.... If you still want to do it yourself, get a Chilton's repair manual for GM cars for these years. Amazon or Ebay should have them and cheap. They do have the instructions for replacing that motor.

Try at the rear of the radiator approx. 1/3 from the top

NO - they're typically just a hard rubber construction.

Not 100% sure, but try starting the fan, open the hood and listen for it.

took me a while to find the flasher, it is jamed up, right behind the fuse block. you got to get a flash light in there to see it. before replacing, check your hazzards, if they are not working eigther, the flasher is probably not the problem. i checked the fuses, replaced the flasher, and still nothing. from my expiriance the steering colomn and its components are junk.

First disconnect the negative battery cable from the battery then you need to gain access to the back of the headlight switch with your hand and locate a small spring loaded button on the switch, the button would be found close to the front of the switch. By pressing this button you will be able to remove the headlight knob with the shaft attached. Once you have removed the knob and shaft you can unscrew the nut from the outside of the dash that holds the switch in place. Once you have removed that nut you can wiggle the switch down far enough to easily unplug the wire connector from the switch.

I would call a GM dealer's service center or a brake shop to find out for sure, but I know that if the ABS system isn't working, your brakes won't be affected.

The engine is Buick red..... I had a GS 340 that was parted, but I still have the engine in reserve for verification.... The 340 in the non GS (ie- Sportwagon was a blue- green color), the 300's were the same color.

The tracks that the window rollers ride in are guncked up with old lube and dirt. I just cleaned the tracks out and lubed them with a light grease and my windows worked again. The window motor heats up and quits is the problem. If you don't attend to this you will have to spend up to $300.00 per motor plus labor to replace.

Probably because they're in the first stage of conking out entirely. If they go back up or partway up after you let them "cool off" for a few minutes, that's the problem. Replacing the motors is the only fix, there's no repairing them. But parts stores should have them.

Under the engine cover is the coil pack housing. Remove the engine cover to reveal the coil housing; this unit attaches to your spark plugs through the spark plug boots and retainers. Inside the housing are your two coils.
