How do you remove bumper stickers?
There are several methods for removing bumper stickers from your car.
1) A wet rag and boiling water. Affix the rag over the sticker. Pour boiling water over rag repeatedly. Let it soak for at least one minute. Using your fingers, peel the sticker off carefully, beginning at a corner. If it doesn't come off easily, repeat the application of the rag and hot water.
2) In a spray bottle of water, mix small amounts of either dish soap or rubbing alcohol. (Or both.) Spray over the entire bumper sticker and let it soak for ten minutes. Again, peel off from a corner.
3) Soak a rag in vinegar and affix it over the bumper sticker for five minutes. Peel off from a corner.
4) Use a blow dryer, set on low hear, to warm up the whole area of the bumper sticker for at least half a minute. Keep the dryer about 6 inches from the surface. Peel at a corner whilecontinuing to apply the heat.
5) Put some WD-40 or lighter fluid on a rag and rub the rag on the edges of the bumper sticker.
If these methods only loosen up the sticker without getting it all off, peel off the sticker using a rubber or plastic edge such as a credit card, or spatula. Never use a metal edge as it might scratch your car.
Wipe any remaining glue with a rag and some alcohol.
There are also commercial products that can remove glue that might be helpful such as Goo Gone.
If the surface appears faded, use car polish or car wax.
Remember, this is a project best suited for a warm day.
How do you change a brake light bulb on a 2003 Holden cruze the one in the bumper?
you will need a Phillips screwdriver.
now, lie on your back (good to put a blanket or bit of cardboard of something to lie on) and pull yourself under the back bumper (there will be enough room to get under)
now, depending on which light you are replacing, you will be at the right or left side of the car.
look up and you will see a dome shaped fitting at the back left (or right), this is not removable so don't try to!
instead, use your Phillips screwdriver to remove the little screw the sits in the bottom part of this dome fitting, it is a bit tricky to do but its not impossible.
remove that screw completely. keep it safe.
now, pull yourself back out from under the bumper and you can how pry the light out from the actual bumper, pulling from the bottom up as the top part has a little "post" on it which fits into a hole, so the idea is to pry up (gently) from the bottom and slowly pull out at a 45 degree angle from the bottom out.
if you did this correctly the light will come out. now just turn the fitting at the back to a right angle to 'unscrew' the fitting and let you access the bulb.
you can then push down on the bulb whilst turning at the same time to release it.
the rest should be easy to do.
just reverse the stages to put the whole lot back together and you should be up and running.
good luck!

The original idea was to have something solid attached to the frame that would prevent damage to a vehicle's expensive body parts. It still does that in very low impact collisions, but has evolved into another expensive body part that must almost always be repaired or replaced after an accident. In combination with 'crumple zones" bumpers are now designed to absorb the impact in a collision and thereby protect the vehicle's occupants.
I wrote the company regarding this and they advised there were no campaigns involving the bumpers and that I was on my own.
How do you fix front bumper 01 Chrysler sebring?
I was raised with the "Drive forward until your tires touch the curb, gently, as if touching an egg." training. As a result I have, more than once, put that low bumper, which makes no noise or resistance when it slides over curb, right over the top. You find this out when you back up and pull a portion of the bumper off. We knew I would likely do it again, so we use zip locks. It may not be professional, but it works. Do it again? You are only out a little time and more zip lock ties.

There is a threaded boss under that cover (assuming you're talking about the small 2" or so rounded plastic cover?) and this is for threading the tow hook into for pulling the car out of a ditch should you find yourself in such a position. The tow hook is stored with your spare tire and tool kit under the carpeting in the rear boot.
