This will tell you what has failed or is being problematic.
1. Open the ash tray and remove the felt lined insert, behind it is a bolt you need to remove. 2. With that bolt removed you can pop out the ash tray/climate control unit, and you will be able to see the two bottom bolts for the radio. 3. Above the radio you will need to pop out the ac vent, it isn't screwed in so you just have to pull on it and it will pop out. With the vent removed you will see the top two bolts for the radio. 4. Remove the 4 bolts and the radio will slide out.

People kept telling me to take it to the dealership. They wanted $50.00 to deal with it. Out of desparation to keep my hard earned money, I stuck a CD and a casette in at the same time. It has worked fine since.

At the base of the engine on the right side. You will need to be under the vehicle. Also, make sure to replace with PF58 instead of PF59 as indicated by the service manual. It is a misprint. PF 59 will cause an oil leak at the crankshaft position sensor.
According to Sewell Cadillac, the correct oil filter is AC Delco PF61. If your not sure like I was, call your local dealer or auto parts store. They will all tell you that it is the PF61. There is actually another posting about the 2004 Trailblazer's oil filter on this web-site confirming the PF61. Check it out for yourself.
