I have the same problem on my ford taurus please help

You smell antifreeze because you are overheating. Check your water level in your cooling system to make sure it is full. You may need to replace your thermostat or rdiator cap to fix the over heating problem.You may also have to check your radiator fan to make sure it is working properly.

Engine on

Clear 3/8 hose

Clean nose

Put the hose on the spark plug and Then smell one by one

If you find one

Take it out and then you see the bottom of the spark plug

It's not even

Put new one or use the old one make sure it's clean and tight

There are code readers for pre-96 vehicles, possibly even get free scan at auto parts store. My guess is if you smell gas, then it's running rich. It could be sensor related like O2 sensor/MAP sensor/MAF sensor along those lines. Or mechanical, like a fuel pressure regulator or loose injectors...

A dirty mouth and unbrushed teeth could be a good reason, trya good teeth and tongue brushing then gargle some mouth wash.

SOOOO wrong.. I have a problem with my breath..it destroys all aspects of my life mentally socially and physically. I constantly floss, brush use pH balanced mouthwashes.. Breath assure, gum mints anything..sprays baking soda peroxide... There can be many other factors. Post nasal drip, tonsil stones, diet, liver and kidney issues... disease.. It is horrible and so sad that people just assume we don't brush our teeth.

Sounds like the tranny, the cat would slow the revs as it is essentially choking the exhaust output. Is there a code in the OBD II autozone will scan for free!

is the rotten egg smell coming from the exhaust or from the battery if from exhaust, nothin you can do about it if it is from the battery, the battery is overcharching you need to have battery, alternater and regulator checked. if the battery keeps overcharging it can explode, also the gas given off from battery is extremely explosive and if ignited can burn ya car to nuthin

As the above answer states make sure it is not coming from the battery. If it is coming from the exhaust, this is not normal and there is a problem.There is something you can do about it. Possible problems and fixes.

If its from the engine bay, check the serpantine belts, and the timing belt. My old Toyota paseo had a bad serpantine belt and it did squeak alot. Also check all the pulleys make sure theyre not wobbly.

Perhaps the same problem as i had on my 99 ram sport, fuel pressure was to high causing it to start hard (cranked longer than normal b4 starting)and would get an awful smell inside from time to time. cured mine by replacing the fuel sensor on top of the gas tank that regulates fuel pressure
