Are there more Catholics or more Protestants in England?
It has and most likely will always be protestants because the queen being a protestant herself runs the church of England which without a doubt is the most popular church in England.
It depends on what you mean by "Dominican".
People from the island-nation of the Dominican Republic predominantly speak Spanish, although there are some refugees from neighboring Haiti who speak French.

Dominican Friars speak French if that is the native language of the country in which they reside. French is not a holy language of the order nor is it necessarily used in any rite they practice.
Why was inquisition established?
The prime purpose was to enhance the power of the monarchy, and of the Roman Catholic Church in Spain, by requiring that Catholics were loyal to the faith. As a political program, it led to confiscations and the torture of alleged heretics, and eventually to the expulsion of non-Catholics from Spain.
In 15th century Spain, Jews and Muslims were able to avoid legal restrictions and cultural bias by converting to Catholicism. Many still covertly practiced their former faiths, and might therefore be considered disloyal to the crown. The Spanish rulers extended a form of the Papal Inquisition of medieval times, which punished those who opposed certain Church doctrines. Suspected heretics were often tortured until they publicly "confessed" (the auto-da-fé) and were then cruelly executed.
A moral issue like this has many possible answers--I'd say it should be IF it is used appropriately, such as if an animal or human is in great pain and will inevitably die anyway, that way they are not suffering.

Is holy Thursday the day of the last supper?
Maunday Thursday is one of the celebrations during Holy Week that may include foot washing and/or the partaking of the Last Supper. The order of worship is adapted from the Holy Bible and can be found in these scriptures: Matthew 26:20-30; Mark 14:17-26; Luke 22:7-38; and John 13. The Last Supper, however, is one of the ordinances observed quite frequently in the Christian faith throughout the year as it is a remembrance of the body and blood of Jesus Christ that was sacrificed for the remission of sin. What separates Maunday Thursday from the observation of the Last Supper is the foot washing, however, it is not uncommon to include the elements of the Eucharist. The order of service is commonly coordinated by the pastor, priest, or leaders of the Christian church. The term Maunday is derived from the latin term "Mandatum" which is included in the latin statement, "Mandatum novum do vobis ut diligatis invicem sicut dilexi vos" which means, "A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another as i have loved you." Maunday is a reflection of the second greatest commandment that can be found in Matthew 22:39, "Love your neighbor as yourself." This great command is what the Disciples of Christ are commissioned to do and it is a sign of a true follower of Jesus Christ. In the Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John) it is told that the disciples were asking who was the greatest among them and Jesus Christ indicated that because they are called to serve they would be considered the least. Therefore, Jesus Christ washed the feet of his disciples so as to set an example of servitude and to teach them the true meaning of humility.
