Where is the transmission mount on a 91 Camaro RS?
The transmission mount for a 91 camaro rs is near the tail end of the transmission. It is connected on the top portion of the cross member. If you do not know what the cross member looks like, look underneathe the car and find the tail end of the transmission, where the drive shaft is inserted, and you will see a bar going underneathe the transmission connecting to the frame on either side of the transmission. The transmission mount sits right on top of the cross member. You will have to take the cross member off to get to the mount.

Well, lets think about this? The 2002 camaro z28 came with an 5.7 liter LS1 v8 motor putting out 305 hp. The 2010 camaro ss came with a 6.2 liter LS3 v8 with 426 hp....do the math.............
First off get out of the magazines.
2nd The Ls1 was about 340 at the crank (proven in dynos at stock form).
3rd Many 2002 Ls1 were able to pull 12.7-12.8 in stock form.
4th Ive seen 2010 SS all over the board. From 13.6-12.7 stock.
5th Horsepower is NOT everything. The 02 weighs a LOT less. Put that 6.2 in a 02 and that 02 will SCREAM. Put it in a 3rd gen and you got a literal rocket on your hands.
6th The fastest car with things MOSTLY equal is always the better driver. Ive beaten 2010 SS in a bolt-on 95 Z28 and have had my ass handed to me by some 2002 WS6.
But if you're looking at paper-statistics, the 2010 SS is about .3 seconds quicker in the 1/4

Don't go to schucks or other auto parts places. They will give you the wrong part. You will either need to go online to order the right part or go to your ford dealership and ask for part #SF-585 E8OY-13350-A Signal flasher module by Motorcraft. Is is a square black box, not the regular round one most of us are used to. You will find it on the right side of the steering column, under the dash. You will need to remove the bottom plastic cover of your dashboard and the metal plate under it to facilitate the swap. You will need to first unhook it from the metal prong that holds it under the dash to lower it so you can unhook the plug, and then unhook the wiring harness/plug from the bad module. It is a pain to do and you will need to pry up on the two little plastic tabs that ironically say "push" with a small screwdriver while pulling the plug. It will take quite a bit of force, but if a wimp like me can get it... I am glad to be able to post this because this was the only question addressing my problem of intermittant turn signal problems, and there was no answer...till now.

drain the tank, remove the trim and carpet in the trunk, remove rear seats.then you can kinda make a hatch by cutting into the metal sheeting that's above the tank. voila, a hatchay to work on the tank from above. youll have to make brackets so you can place the hatch back in, i'd use tzus clips.

Well the 1992 RS automatic is like 170 HP. I had a V6 Swapped out for a V8 on my camaro, I don't know how much it was. My car was a 1983 Camaro with 107HP V6, replaced it with a 1992 RS V8 170HP.

How would you get a battery bolt off that you can't turn with a socket or wrench on a 92 Camaro RS?
I assume you are referring to the side mounted terminals on a battery. They are very easily stripped if the wrong wrench is used or more commonly when pliers are used to tighten or remove. I have found that the best tool to use in this and similar situations is a 6" pipe wrench. It will damage the bolt but that's already the problem. It will remove a bolt that is completely rounded off. Just put it on the stripped bolt and apply a little counter-clockwise pressure and the bolt will loosen. Be careful as it is possible to actually loosen the entire terminal block requiring a new battery. It is probably stuck because it was overtightened in the first place.
