How do you convert kilometers to mph on a 1994 Camaro z28 speedometer?
The speedometer on the 1994 z28 Camaro has both MPH and KPH on it. The KPH are the red numbers on the inside of the scale.
How would you increase the power for a 1987 camaro 305 4bbl?
Cheap power can be found thru "bolt ons" like hedders for the exhaust system, with better performance mufflers, a better and more free flowing air cleaner, and maximizing the engines timing, and ignition system. Performance heads and a better cam shaft would be next , along with a better carb and performance ignition wires and cap. If it is a standard trans I'd put in a performance clutch and a explosion proof bell housing, and also put in a better rear gear ratio and some kind of rear axle traction control bars and better shocks all around. Better cooling and more capacity in the rad and a after market electric rad fan, plus a better fuel pump and filter, to keep the gas clean and flowing well. OK time to answer the age old question........... HOW fast do you want to go? How much MONEY do you HAVE? It is not cubic inches that makes speed............. it is CUBIC DOLLARS. I'd start by installing an Edelbrock competition cam, edel. Torker series (4bl)intake manifold, and edel. 4bl carb. Next, an Accel HEI super coil and Hooker headers, followed with a set of flowmaster muffelers. Top off with a set of 4" deep morosso or edelbrock aluminum or chrome valve covers, and finally a tunnel ram. The 305 and 350 blocks are similar, I'd do the necessary mods. to enlarge it to a 350, and install all of the above. Guaranteed to blow the doors off your typical "muscle car>" and allof nthe polished aluminum and chrome will make her stand out even more. Just for the hell of it, for speed, drop in a Hearst "slap shifter" and install a shift kit in the tranny. It'll suck the gas down as son as you turn the key, but with big meat on the rear, traction bars and right gears you'll bloww anything off of the line and send the competition home crying. an d you'll drive away with a new pink and spare rod to tweak out for the track. I plan to keep the car for a while, the car doesn't put out the power I would like. The plan is to put on parts as I come up with the money, the problem was I didn't know what I needed to up the performance.
How do you disconnect an aftermarket car alarm on a 2001 Chevy Camaro?
be carefull, removing the aftermarket module can make the car not start, as they may have tapped into the ignition circuit.... check all the WIRING going to their alarm module, and see if they have changed any of the original harness... good luck :)
How do you change the temperature gauge in a 93 Beretta?
You will need to swap out the entire gauge cluster. You cannot change just the temperature gauge. Remove the center Phillips-head screw under the windshield wiper switch & the center screw underneath the headlights switch. Tilt your wheel all the way down (if you have the tilt steering option). Firmly but gently grab the headlight and wiper switches, and pull toward you. The plastic piece around the gauge cluster should "pop" out. Once the plastic pulls free of the clips, disconnect the harnesses from the wiper and headlight switches. You will then find four small bolts holding the gauge cluster to the dash. Remove them. The gauge cluster will then pull out easily.
The best way to find a replacement gauge cluster is in a junkyard. There are a lot of Berettas and Corsicas there nowadays. Note that the odometer is included in the gauge cluster, and it may be illegal to misrepresent the mileage of your car if you're planning on selling it. Try to find a cluster with similar miles. Note: Adding a few more miles is morally better than less miles. ;-)
Control module location in a 1993 camaro?
The Control Module on a 1993 Camaro is just to the left of the valve cover. It is toward the rear of the engine compartment on the passenger side of the engine.
The low pressure port is the one on the accumulator (the canister). The low pressure lines are the bigger lines and the high pressure are the small lines.
How do you install the speedometer cables lower and upper on a 1982 corvette?
You must have cruise control. The lower cable comes up from the transmission and fastens to the transducer. A shorter cable goes from there, through the firewall, and into the car. It slides on to the back of the speedo head and clips into place. The connections outside the car are pretty straightforward, there are nuts that you unscrew. Behind the dash is abit tricky if you have big hands. There is a locking device that you have to push with a finger while you grasp and pull the cable with the other hand. Match the new cables to the old ones before you install them. On the new cables pull out the inner drive cable and check that it has some light grease on it. Some come lubed, some don't. Also, put a little oil into the "bell" end of the short cable. This is the end that goes on to the speedo head. If you are successful at this go get yourself a steak dinner.
What exhaust is better for a 94 V6 Camaro?
From what I've seen most people are running Pacesetter headers, with either Magnaflow or Borla exhaust/mufflers. Some also use Flowmaster exhaust/ mufflers but from what I've heard the Flowmaster doesn't sound too hot on a v6 Camaro as far as the "Flowmaster" sound.

yea if u shove them up ur butt
How do you remove a governor on a 2002 camaro?
RPM (revolutions per minute) of the engine are computer controlled and limited to around 6,500 rpm (V8 models). I believe the V6 models have a MPH (mile per hour) restriction but the V8 models do not. There are ways of removing or raising these limits by reflashing the onboard computers with aftermarket computer programs or custom 'tunes' installed by a high performance shop (less expensive than buying the programs yourself). There are good reasons for these limits on an otherwise stock vehicle, but for a heavily modified vehicle used for racing it can benecessary to change them.

How do you remove BCM on 1998-02 Camaro?
Quote I read by $uperpuma on Sound Domain forums, regarding a good place to run an amplifier power cable through your firewall:
"If I remember correctly there should be a great grommet on the passenger side behind the BCM. the bracket on the wheel well opens on either side of the module, pull it up and to the side..."

If Its the 4 Cylinder 2.5 engine I know what it is...on the 2.5 there is a module located beneath the distributor cap...I believe it is call an ignition control module... theses modules over time will slowly wear out and when the engine is being run hot ( interstate driving for example) it will affect your spark timing which in turn will cause lack of power and the occasional backfire.
