Is the bulb burned out? Is the fuse for that side brake light good? If both answers are 'yes', then perhaps you should have an automotive electrical specialist check out the problem.

Have you tried spraying gas intothe breather. Does it have tbi or multi-port? How about the fuel regulator. How much pressure does the fuel rail have ?

Yes and it should be in your fuse block. Chances are that it is a relay fuse and you won't be able to tell if it is blown or not.

The power booster check valve would be located where the vacuum hose is connected to the booster. The vacuum hose is connected to the valve and the valve is inserted into the booster. They are usually made of plastic.

Was it smoke or steam? You might pull your oil dipstick out to see if there is water in it. It would be a creamy tecture. May be a blown head gasget.

first and cheapest is to change the plugs, and wires and other ignition components... then look for a vacuum leak, or stuck EGR valve... I'd get a manual from a library and see how to test the egr.. Dave

There should be only two wire connections on the stop light switch. You need to put a constant 12v supply to one side of the switch and the light wire itself to the other side. The switch then needs to be adjusted so that the brake pedal holds the switch in to keep the lights off. When the pedal is depressed the lights will go on. If they stay on all the time, re-adjust the brake switch.

Simply sounds like the pump went kaput. Needs to be replaced.

While an incorrect fuel/air ratio can cause a misfire, it's not likely to cause only one cylinder to misfire unless you have tuned port injection. The more likely cause is the ignition system... Distributor cap, rotor, plug wires, or spark plugs.

The 97 ECM / computer REQUIRES a electronic controlled transmission Witch is the 4L60E / E is for electronic controlled transmission. The only 2 different years of the 4L60E that will work is the 96 and 97 model due to the bell-housing and transmission dust cover and the design of the transmission braces. If the truck don't have the 4L60E trans in it. The engine won't even run RIGHT.

The 1989 transmission was not COMPUTER CONTROLLED. WON'T WORK.

Open the hood, Now look back at the fire wall on the drives side just under the windshield area and you will see the wiper motor bolted to the fire wall. Now there is a black plastic cover that has I think 3 torx screws holding it to the motor. Unplug the electrical connector and remove that cover and then pull the printed circuit board off of the motor.

YES it will fit right in there and bolt right up. But it won't run and transmission won't work. You will have to install a 1996 ECM / ENGINE CONTROLL MODULE / Computor. 1996 model 4L80E transmission, compleat engine and transmission wireing harness and then change the fuel pump too. So there you go. Getttter done.

I can't answer your question but I can say that my 260 hp 350 Mercruiser has 2 bolt mains and a 4 bolt rear main. Go figure! So I take it from your question that you also have 2 bolt mains with a 4 bolt rear main.

There is no fuse for the headlights in that truck. The circuit is protected by a circuit breaker located inside the headlight switch.

YES they are the same transmissions as long as the 94 had the 4L80E in it too.

There is no fuel reset switch. There is a fuel pump fuse within the fuse box and there is a relay inside of the electrical panel in the engine compartment, but there is no reset switch.

A typical relay uses small (primary) wires to cause points to close, completing (closing) the circuit for the bigger wires that carry the current to operate a device, such as a cooling fan, starter or the high speed circuit on a bower motor. A blower resister unit has different paths for the electricity to flow for the slower fan speeds. I say this because some blower motor relays include the high speed relay and the resister unit. In that type of system, removing the relay keeps the blower fan (heater or air conditioner air movement) from occuring. It is very typical for these blower control devices to fail in a GM car and for the wiring to also be hurt in a GM truck. Visual inspection of the relay/resister that is located above the front passenger's feet will help you decide how much damage you have, as when the relay/resister is removed you can see heat damage to the faulty ones. Many of these are held in by bolts that have 5.5 mmm heads.
