ok you have to take your breather box off with to or three bolts i think 10mm and then the intake tube going to throttle body with a screw driver loosen the clamp that it holds to the throttle body then you should see a round black top about 2 inches around three inches tall with an electrical plugin just under your top radiator hose on the intake or you thermostat housing that is it ..it is bolted with two bolts to the intake i think they are 10mm bolts you will need a ratchet with a long extension and them bolts will be tight so make sure to have your socket on the bolt good or it will strip it out so make sure not to drop them bolts you might loose them...note if it is not working it might just need cleaned good with brake cleaner there will be an open hole and a hole with a star bit shape head on it that is supposed to move in up and down if it does not move then clean it by spraying brake cleaner in the open hole and might have to get a small flat head or something to loosen all the carbon build up this might help you from buying a new one

the fuse block is on the driver side of the engine compartment at the rear,like inside the fender.

Many auto parts stores will provide that service for you for zip if you purchase the parts needed to fix the problem from them. That same auto parts store can also sell you a scanning device to read them yourself for under $100. This would be a very basic tool for reading the codes. The tool should come with a booklet that lists the codes and what they mean.

This was caused by a poor connection at the Battery. We disconnected and and reconnected the new battery and everything worked fine.

Remove inside engine cover by removing two bolts on both sides of cover just under dash, pull off trim piece just above cover to expose two gold color nuts, remove them. Go to the bottom of the cover and remove two more of these nuts at the floor level. Pull the cover off gently. Unplug the cigarette lighter wire harness by squeezing in on the lock tabs. Then you are looking at the inner cover held in place by two spring loaded straps. Pull on the straps to unhook them from the floor hooks in front of the cover. Pull the cover off. Inner cover may not be able to be removed due to interference with the seats. Removal of one of the two seats may be required.

Speed sensor is on the back side of the transmission (passenger side).

spray the heck out of the hinges with crc and gently work it in . do it every few hours gently until the crc penetrates the hinge. If that doesn't work, find someone with an air compressor, and use an air hammer with the pointed bit and knock the pin out. It will take a while, but if you get it out and grind off the rust and use some good lube when you put it back in it will last longer than using WD40 every month. Some vise-grips will be needed. It is a tough job, and tough to do without messing up your paint.

The gas gauge and thermostat on a 2002 express van are not related. You have two separate problems with the vehicle.

Remove the decorative cover from your 2006 Chevy Express stereo. Remove the stereo retaining screws. The stereo will slide out. Remove the wiring harness and the antenna cable from the back of the stereo.

just repaired same problem on 97 gmc van...checked all wires for bad grounds..thoughly cleaned sockets....i had a hair pulling intermitent situation...

answer was to replace short rear harnesses ,,,evidently the interior ofplastic lite sockets degraded... arcing from the extra load of the other lites go on.

ps.... chevy wanted $180 per harness...got them online for $23...30 min installation, exact match connectors

the fuel pump relay for a 2000 Chevy express van is in the right side of the engine when looking inside but its inside a black box in the corner once you take that cover off the relays and fuses are right there under the cover will show u which relays and which fuses go where

Yes, the condensate drain is located on the passenger side firewall. However is difficult to see the drain and imposible to reach it with your hand from under the car. If you put a light on top of the passenger side axle this will light up the area you want to see and the light itself will be out of the way. Straight out from the damper pully there is a plastic wheel well pannel. Bend this panel out away from the engine. Postion your eyes straight from the air conditioning compressor aproximately centered in front of the tire. Look back at the firewall and you will see the rubber drain. It is about an inch tall and half inch wide. Pull off this rubber piece towad the front of the car. It most likely be full of fuzz. Clean it out and put it back on the tube with opening down.

the fuel pump is cooled by the fuel around it. keep the tank from going empty, or at least above 1/4 tank.
