Thast depends on which engine you have. The 3.l v6 it is on top of the engine nxt to the firewall. On the 3.4 dual overhead cam engine, it is located on the bottom of the passenger side of the engine. The rear of the frame will have to be lowered in order to remove it. Very involved job.- Tech JK

I have a 01 Monte Carlo SS and my ground is under the backseat it was profesionally installed but it was pretty easy to do everything in the back just snaps off and snaps back in to place, but when you take the back seat out there is alot of metal and its easy to screw it to the frame of the car.

Try searching online, there are some free downloadable manuals but as to what degree of information they may have I can't say. I have stumbled across a few of these sites now and then but have never had a need to access any of them. Other than that all I can suggest is maybe your local library.

I am have the same problem with my 06 Monte Carlo LT. Took to the dealer. Its a head gasket leak.

It should, the plugs for ecm are the same, you will have to take the ecm(located on passenger side fender) along to keep things tight(no check engine light)

It is best to get the whole power window regulator assembly from the junkyard, which includes the power window motor. Cost should be no more than $40. Remove interior door trim panel by removing all screws and pulling up on the door panel. Unbolt existing window regulator assembly and slide guides from aluminum window track (you will have to uncrimp one end of track). Installation is the reverse of removal (remember to recrimp aluminum window track after reassembly). I did this repair in 45 minutes, power window worked like new. Good Luck!

If so, turn the key to the on position, do not start the engine. press the gas pedal three time all the way to the floor. the light should start to blink. turn the key off and then start the car. the light should blink a few more times and then stay off.

Here's the radio part...

Turn your radio off. Hold down the tuning button for about 10-15 seconds.

You should see some options and a menu like look pop up on the screen.

Using the seek button, scroll through until you see "Oil Life."

Press the tuning button again, it should say "Reset."

Press the tuning button one more til, it will see "Done."

Turn your radio back on, and you're done.

Make sure you don't have a disconnected vacuum hose to the transmission, and that your transmission oil level is full.
