call a locksmith it is well worth the 75-150$ they charge. they are tooled for it and do it all the time. if you watch them do the job you will understand. I just had 3 cars rekeyed and it took about an hour this would have taken me 4hours and 2 new tools.

The question is How to remove ignition switch,, not Who to call about an ignition switch. I mean come on,,

Remove the steering wheel, press the plate, pull the lock ring out, remove 3 Phillips head screws to your turn signal switch. There is one more tiny Phillips screw, this is for the turn signal arm. Just pull the switch up just a little bit to get it off the steering shaft, there is a torques head screw, remove that and the cylinder is out, reverse all the directions to install.

simply depress the hazard light switch on top of the steering column. if the switch does not turn on hazard lights the switch may need to be replaced. this is common with this body platform.

Be aware that the turn signal and hazard switch are all one part.

it is not a difficult task to change, but remember that you will need some expertise for dealing with the air bags and steering wheel removal

The fuel pump is located in the tank. So you need to jack the car up and drop the tank to access it. Hope this helps

sure it can be done but you will need an ignition switch diagram to be able to do it so you know which wires go onto the push button.

Disconnect the steering column from the power steering box in the engine compartment (there is a seal and it will not pull out easy). Remove the cover from underneath the steering column inside the car. Disconnect all wire connectors. There is a bracket underneath the column - remove the four bolts from it. There is s boot seal where the column goes through the firewall - it may also contains a bolt that wiil need to be removed. If it has a column shifter, you will need to disconnect this as well. Make sure when you slide the new steering column into the power steering box that the tires are straight and so is the steering wheel. If you forget, the steering wheel will not be straight while driving.

They are hard to see but are right where the block meets the oil pan. One nice thing is they point straight down so it makes less of a mess when draining.

I put 255-60-15's with a 8" corvette ralley wheel on my 87 Monte and they looked cool but they were right even with the fender lip, they will fit easily but are a lot wider than stock.

If your regular headlights wont turn on but only the brights for your Monte Carlo 07 then you're probably experiencing an outage in the light area. The fuse or the bulbs may also be the cause of the problem.

This isn't a simple question to answer bc there are three ways to do it. You can get a NEW tranny and that will run a probably 3-4 grand. A rebuilt will be around 2 grand. Another thing to do is to take it to a GOOD tranny shop and sometimes they can rebuild them without taking the whole moter out and that will be around 1500 or so. A good tranny shop rebuild will be just like getting a new trannsmission. Also if other components are bad they will need to be replaced and that will drive the costs up. Things like bad speed sensors and that sort of thing will make the price go up. A good tranny shop will have all the necessary equipment to properly diagnose it. My mother-in-law just had her 95 Windstar replaced and this is what she did. Good luck.

Yes, as long as you have a fully charged battery and good starter the engine will start even if the alternator is defective. The engine will run until the battery looses it's charge, which it will. if the alternator is bad.

Remove the wheel. Remove the brakes and drum. Remove the tie rod. Pound the ball joint out with a hammer. Reverse the process to install the new ball joints.

16 gallons. Maybe a little more, maybe a little less. It's within .5 gallons of 16 gallons, of that I'm sure. I lost my owner's manual, but if you have yours, you can look this up. Just go to the index, and look up "Capacities and Specifications." But the manual will tell you it's within .5 gallons of 16.

Don't see any date here, so I don't know how likely it is you fixed your alternator. If not, this is one of the best pieces to work on and troubleshoot. I put together a whole bunch of my own curriculum that I used for nine years in a community college auto electrical class. The operation of this system is boiled down to a one-page document that explains how the system works. I can also give you troubleshooting tips, and can send you to a dandy parts supplier. You should know, however, that there are a lot of these in the "core" bins at the junkyards. I used to buy a lot of them for 2 bucks each, and could usually make three good units out of five. There's no reason you can't fix this alternator for just a few bucks, and an hour or two of your time.

U get out a dvometer & check that U only have continuity one way on your diode trio-THE comentator on the armature should not b shorted-brushes-look @-Voltage regulator takes a special machine the copper fields should have continuity & not an open.
