How do I remove the dash panel from a 1995 Ford Thunderbird to change a dash light bulb?
Remove the screw covers on the face of the dash panel. They look like decorative indents in the plastic. Using a credit card or other piece of stiff plastic to pry is helpful. Then remove the screws (I believe there are 5...) Then "just" wiggle the dash panel off. (The reverse wiggling process is even more tricky, but it's all just finicky finagling.) It helps to have a friend to stabilize and manage getting the thing out or in.

Where is the fuel pump on a 1993 Geo Tracker?
Hi, If you have an engine with a carb, yhen your job is pretty simple since the pump is on the cylinder head. The pump is mounted with two bolts. Before you remove the pump, you need to disconnect the neg batt cable, next, remove the gas cap, next remove the hoses from the pump and drain the excess fuel from the hoses. When you remove the pump and remove the pump actuating rod you need to clean the pump gasket completely from the cylinder head. When you replace the pump, just reverse the steps you took except for draining the hoses, mak sure you coat the fuel pump actuatin rod with new oil as it rides on the cam, , now you need to ccharge the hoses with fuel. You need to have someone turn the engine over, with the neg batt cable still disconnected, until gas comes from the hose, then reconnect the hoses. If your car is fuel injected the situation is different. In a fuel injected car, whether the car is Throtle body Fuel Injection or Multipoint Fuel Injection, the fuel pump is in the gas tank. To change that is another ball game. As before you disconnect the battery. You're going to need to raise the car in order to do finish the job too. If taking the gas tank and disconnecting everything is above your level or something you just don't have the facilities to do it in, then I'd have it done. The gas level float is another place our cars are subject to a failure. the two wires that are on the sender are exposed to all the elements and can break easily. If you have the pump repaired or do it, you should do what I did which is put some RTV that is going to stand up to everything and surround the wires and the connections so they won't break because if they do, then you have to lower the gas tank again, kill two birds with one stone. Good luck and I hope this is timely for you and helps. Steve H.
How do you change 3rd brake light bulb 2002 Chevy Tracker?
To remove the cover, push in the center button of each clip on both sides of the cover. This should release the pin from its outer circle and allow you to remove the clip holders from the cover. If necessary, remove the two Phillips head screws that are now accessible, to provide better access. A small turn on each bulb holder should release it from the holder. Reverse the steps to replace. The pins will slide through the holes in the clip holders when the cover is in place. Push them flush with the holders and they will lock the cover. Pushing them in too far will initiate the cover-release process again and you will have to remove the cover to access them.
What year did Geo stop making 3 cylinders?
Geo (a subsidiary of GM/Chevrolet) began production of numerous vehicles in 1988. The 3-cylinder in question was developed by Suzuki and used in the Chevrolet Sprint, Pontiac Firefly, Suzuki Swift, and Geo Metro. Geo itself lived for ten years being swallowed by corporate GM in 1998. The Metro lived on as the Chevrolet Metro for two more years with the 3-cylinder 1.0L engine only available in the base hatchback - the sedan with the 1.3L 4-cylinder engine survived into 2001 as a fleet-sales only vehicle. So, year 2000 would basically be your answer.
How do you change a serpentine belt on a 2000 Chevy Tracker?
There is a tension roller in about the center of the pulleys. (This is the smooth roller, probably bronze-colored, just left of the center). Using a #14 metric socket and wrench, push clockwise (As if to tighten the Nut)-- the tensioner will release the tension on the belt and it slides off. Remove the belt from the remaining pulleys. The belt has to come out over the fan blades. Note the belt routing prior to removing. It helped me to get a pencil and paper and draw a diagram. Install in reverse order. Hint: The grooves in the pulley goes with the grooves in the Belt. It is very helpful to have another set of hands to help hold the belt on the Pulleys while putting it over the tensioner. If this is not possible, get it on all pulleys except the tensioner, then while releasing tension using your right hand slip it over the tensioner with the left (note you have to have your wrench in front of the belt).

How do you change a headlight bulb on a 2002 Chevy Tracker.?
on the right and left hand side of the headlight assembly is a latch that you pull up, once both latches are up you can remove the assebly and change the light. do not touch the adjusters behind these latches (they take Allen wrenches or sockets), if you do you'll mess up the headlights calibration, i learned this the hard way unfortunately and now one headlight is higher than the other, and the plastic screw is stripped and wont adjust.
What can cause the headlights to go out on a 1982 Oldsmobile Delta 88?
I have the same problem with my 1992 Olds 88. My research says the problem may be a circuit breaker in the light switch, headlight wiring is protected. An electrical overload would cause the lights to go on and off, and they may stay off. Have the headlight system checked right away is the recommendation. I am trying to find the location of this circuit breaker..... Does anyone know?
