How do you copy the contents on your hard drive on to a hard drive in another computer that has been scrubbed clean?

I would not recommend doing this if you're wanting to copy Operating system and all over to another computer. No. 1 it probably will not work because of driver and motherboard issues. No. 2 if it does work, (Windows is able to load adequate new drivers to get up and running) then you will probably still have major problems with conflicts, and other driver errors left over. I would suggest loading the other computer from scratch.

That advise was free now here's the answer to your question. There is a program called Norton Ghost that will allow you to duplicate a drive or partition to a second drive or partition. There are other programs like Drive Image Pro that do basically the same thing. You'll need to boot to a dos prompt and run the "ghost.exe" from a diskette or another drive partition. Once in the Ghost program you can select the drive/partition you want to copy, then you select the destination. This will be the blank drive you have. (By the way I neglected to say the clean drive needs to be placed in the system with the original hard drive in it.) After selecting the correct destination the software will proceed to duplicate the information to the blank drive. Once this process is complete you now have two drives with identical information on them.

Which types of cable has a single inner-core wire conductor and a wire-mesh outer conductor?

That is a description of an ordinary "coaxial cable". There are designators for various specific coaxial cables such as RG-58 and RG-59. See the link for more. Sounds like shielded RG-58 or RG-59 used respectively as listed above for cable TV or RG-59 for satellite TV. If the cable is as large as a human average finger it could be shielded 2-way radio cable which usually is run from the base station to the outside antenna.

What is the purpose of a BIOS configuration?

The BIOS (Basic Input/Output System) is software that resides right on your motherboard which allows the system to start up, test itself to ensure that all essential hardware is present and working, and load an operating system from whichever storage device(s) it's configured to load 'em from. The BIOS standard is slowly being phased out (more quickly in some PC brands than others *coughapplecough*) in favour of the more flexible, modern EFI (Extensible Firmware Interface) standard.

Why does the home PC and laptop get slower internet connectivity than the work laptop which is connected to the same router?

This could be for a couple of different reasons. Firstly it could be due to Firewall and Port settings which could be playing a part in the internet speed. Secondly, and probably more likely, your work laptop has a better network adaptor. New routers and new devices also support double frequency transmission of Wi-Fi signals (e.g. Samsung S4 and S5 along with other new devices) and this could be the case for you where your work laptop includes this new technology.
