Viruses is just one of those types. I suggest you buy AVG Internet Security 9. The program works very well but if you have atleast a gigabyte of ram it will run flawless. I have tested this program on my desktop with only a half a gigabyte of ram and for the most part it runs pretty well. On the other hand there are programs called sandboxers. They basically put certain programs that are considered a threat in a virtual cell. These programs work but for most people they find them too confusing.

So, in conclusion you should buy an Internet Security program. Either from AVG, Trend Micro or Kaspersky.

Ok, this worked for me ( win XP ) and I had quite a few different shinwow viruses in my pc. First turn off system restore - (right click my computer - left click properties, then click system restore tab and place a tick next to "turn off system restore on all drives" ,click apply and okay. Now go to control panel, click on java icon and delete all temporary internet files and then ok. Now, in control panel go to "add or remove programs" and sroll down to any java updates you may have. Uninstal all of them. Now scan your system with your antivirus and also adaware (free). Adaware somehow helped my antivus detect the virus. After scanning go to www.java.com and download the latest java update for windows (free). That should do it. Remember to now go back and turn system restore back on. Good luck. Dezza.
