What are the different types of programming languages?
A type of programming language could be a domain, paradigm, or family; the related links give taxonomies according to all of these factors. The below answer addresses the question as regards families.
It would be impossible to list them all, but a few of the most common are as follows (listed in alphabetical order):
BASIC - This was the language Bill Gates released for the C64 and other computers. It quickly became a very popular language and matured into Visual Basic, which further matured into Visual Studio. The current implementation is very expensive, however Microsoft have released Express versions of the Visual Studio series which are free, at the expense (removal) of some functionality. There is also a very young cross-platform (Windows, Linux) Free and Open Source (FOSS) implementation of BASIC called FreeBASIC, which I personally program in and find very easy to use. It aims for compatibility with QuickBASIC while giving easy access to the host platform's system functions (the Windows API on Windows and system calls on Linux).
C, C#, C++ - These I don't have much knowledge about, I can only make reference to the existence of "gcc", a cross-platform (the amount of platforms it can compile to is mind-boggling) FOSS compiler. Visual Studio also has compilers for C++ and C#.
Perl, PHP, Python - These are mainly the "web languages" of today. PHP is the most widely used, mainly because of the fact that support for it is compiled into Apache, "the" web server for Linux (which also has ports for Windows and if I'm not mistaken, Mac OS). Perl and Python are also used very widely too, as it's as simple as installing mod_perl into Apache for Perl to work with the same, and I'd imagine Python integration is as easy too.

Using programming languages and markup languages (such as XHTML and XForms) require some of the same skills, but using markup languages is generally not considered "programming." Nevertheless, many markup languages allow inclusion of scripts, e.g. many HTML documents contain JavaScript. There are exceptions where markup languages do represent programming such as SuperX++ (http://xplusplus.sourceforge.net/) and o:XML (http://www.o-xml.org/) Computer programming is one part of a much larger discipline known as software engineering, which includes several different aspects of making software including design, construction and quality control. The subject of this book is software construction, that is, programming. Computer programming is also a useful skill (though not always necessary) for people who are interested in computer science. Whereas software engineering is interested specifically in making software, computer science tends to be oriented towards more theoretical or mathematical problems.

Will router work with two computers with different operating systems?
Absolutely. The network traffic is essentially the same when it comes to straight date. The files could be different resulting in one computer not understanding the other, but a router will work with MAC, LINUX/UNIX and WINDOWS all on it.

Signal Over Range, means that your computer is sending a signal to the monitor that it cannot handle. You may need to readjust the settings of your display. Of course this may be difficult if you cannot see what you are doing, because the display is out of range. You should be able to run the computer in safe mode, as the graphics output is much less demanding. While in safe mode, you can change the display settings and restart. If this doesn't work, you still have another option. You can uninstall the display drivers, then let Windows reinstall them for you.

you cant just cut it. you have to find out the ohm value of the proper key for the car. Then get ohm resistors that equal that value splice them into one of they yellow wires.

HiI assume you have one of these "thumb" drives or keychain drives, whatever you care to call them.Well, plug it into your USB port (some of them will light up to tell you it's connected; some are easy to put in upside down too...not good)Then click Start and select My Computer. You will see the new drive shows up in the list. A: is a floppy if you have one, C: is your hard disc, D: is usually a CD drive, so anything else is the usb drive. Find the folder or document you want to transfer and RIGHT click on it. Click "Send to.." and then click on whatever icon or drive letter the usb drive is using (not A, C, or D, obviously. Probably F: unless you have a bunch of CD burners and a partitioned hard drive. Don't ask.)Probably the usb device will flash as the file is transferred and you're done.Phil

How do I get rid of Green worms in basil?
I am struggling with the same problem. So far I am resorting to carefully inspecting my plants (indoors in pots since it is November in Ohio) each day, but have found the worms very difficult to see, even when large. This morning I gave the plant a vigorous shake and 2 worms fell out, so I plan on shaking every day. Does anyone know if the worms are hatching from the soil? Next I plan on scraping out the top layer of soil and replacing.

well that was the case for my 85 i bought it used it had an aftermarket alarm system and it played havic on that cars electrical.....it made the headlights stay on until the car was completely off it made the check engine light stay on all the time...and it wouldn't let me start my car i had to hotwire it and run wires from the starter to the battery... it wouldn't allow the main fan to go on so it overheated until a while ago the computer burnt up...my youngest son whos 16 took the car apart and noticed a very large amount of cobby wireing and even found some lamp cord..he took out the alarm and we bought a new computer and its been running great

to reset mine is 2003 ram I ran batt too low, disconnect batt terminals net and los for 1-2 min May as well pull fuses while waiting look for engine control or start engine , etc fuses, just unplug and plugg back in It helped mine Had to replace gas cap yet?
