There are two types of graffiti-resistant coatings, sacrificial, where the coating is dissolved/sacrificied at a point of vandalism and a new patch applied to the area; and non-sacrificial, which provides a sealed surface from which graffiti can be removed using a specialized cleaning product without affecting the vandalized surface.

Actually, there is another level of non-sacrificial graffiti resistent protective coatings that does NOT require specialized cleaning products, but rather a dry rag or a water rinse. Furthermore, it is backed by independent 3rd party testing for validation.

NOT a good idea. It will soon get marked up and be difficult to wash. Won't stand up to greasy steam and that's in most kitchens at cooking time. I always do mine with semi-gloss enamel and melamine for the cupboards.

Painting isn't going to cover them, it is just going to give them color. You need to mud and sand them smooth, then prime before you paint.

the cabinets were not properly prepared prior to the first painting. The paint can be "stripped" off using a commercial paint stripper or your best bet is to sand the paint and cabinets down as this will need to be accomplished anyway for any furute paint to adhere properly

I know of two really good places to find ideas for decorating Halloween treat bags. You can find them at Party City. I'm not sure if you have one near you but I'm sure they have a website. Also, Oriental trading Company. They are a catalog company with great ideas.

To mount a drum head in a shadow box frame, first ensure the drum head is clean and free of dust. Place the head face down on a piece of acid-free foam or cardboard to protect it. Use strong adhesive or double-sided tape to secure the edges of the drum head to the backing material, ensuring it is centered and straight. Finally, carefully place the backing into the shadow box frame and secure it according to the frame's design.

To draw a Rose you draw a starting petal in the middle and keep doing that with big petals all around it till it looks like a Rose.

Whites and off-whites are safe and easy. Great for a small child's room or a grown-up with a fondness for lilac who doesn't want it too overwhelming.

One or two darker shades of purple will give you a mono-chromatic look, but could get a bit tiresome unless you add an accent colour. Be bold and use a deep jeweled green or blue, or dramatic with black accents.

Greys and soft blues will give you a quiet peaceful feel that is very sophisticated. Use touches of white to accent.

Whatever you do, you need to leave it accessible for any future plumbing issues. In the past, I think people made a curtain to cover the area. There were some pretty strange curtains! Thinking creatively, you could cover it with with colored tape, make it into something else (palmtree? monkey? flower) or other item--sort of hiding it in sight. Paint may peel, especially if the pipe alternates between hot and cold, so be careful what you decide in that case.

If you are trying to sell your house it might as well be considered out dated. Take it off the wall and paint a boring off white to make it a neutral space. People simply just prefer paint and don't like the idea of having to remove wallpaper.

Think about your favorite jungle animals. Paint some vines and hand plastic snakes on them ($1 @ WalMart). Get some cool stuffed animals and hang 'em or place 'em anywhere. Think of whether you want to paint your room or not (green or brown is good). Paint giant leaves everywhere. Hang birdies from the ceiling. It'll really look great. Fun ride or swing

Advantages are that every appliance is within close reach, the walk is very limited for those with disabilities, and the layout is efficient. The disadvantages are that it may be too confined compared to another kitchen layout, and it has only so much room for production (so not great for prepping for a large party).

Symptoms include a sulfur smell like rotten eggs. In addition, the gases given off corrode copper and silver very quickly. Look in the house to see where you can find exposed copper, typically wiring that has been stripped of the insulation. This would usually be in a junction box. Any silver jewelry or silverware will tarnish extremely fast, much faster than usual. Look at mirrors in the house and see if the edges of the mirrors are turning black. The failure of electrical devices and appliances in the house is a tip-off, especially the air conditioning system. A/C systems can fail in 6 months in houses with this problem. Look at the plumbing fixtures. If they are corroding or discoloring, there may be a problem. Check anything metal in the house. Copper plumbing should be very easy to examine. Sheetrock may be exposed in the attic where it has not been painted. See if you can see what kind of sheetrock it is. Check the internet to see if it is a brand that is affected. Occupants of the house may develop symptoms including headaches, respiratory problems and allergic type reactions. In houses with this wall board the corrosion looks black, like soot, not green like a copper roof. If you are in a development where you know it was used, you should be very careful. The wall board came into use after hurricanes in New Orleans and Florida caused a drywall shortage. The construction years are roughly 2002-2006 give or take a couple of years. Most of the affected houses are in Florida although it can be all over the country.
