How do you reset the keyless entry on a 2004 Dodge Durango?
Thanks to no help from Chrysler or Dodge....I ended up figuring this one out for myself. I hope this will help you out. Start your Durango and leave it running for about two minutes. Once you do this, press both the lock and unlock button on your keyless entry (key fob) and do this three times, each time holding it pressed down for about two seconds each time. After this, your keyless entry should be reset and working. This had to be done on my Durango after I changed my battery.

Depending on engine its pretty simple... for the 2.5 its: First u drain the coolant. Remove Serpintine belt Remove the A/C Compressor and keep it out of the way with someone such as rope or a bungee cord, whatever you might have to keep it up and out of the way... Remove Alternator. Remove the main mounting bracket that holds the AC Compresser and Alternator on. Remove the 3 bolts holding the water pump housing to the engine block. How many miles does a volkswagon beatle use on a full tank of gas?
mine usually gets around 360 to 370 on a 14 gallon gas tank.
Any special tools needed to change a fuel pump on a dodge durango?
The only special tool you would need would be a floor jack, to lower the gas tank. The fuel pump is in the gas tank. Mine was really easy to replace. Just have as little gas in the tank as possible, disconnect the two tubes from the rear of the fuel tank (which is plastic, nice!) Then remove the two bolts that are holding the straps that run under the tank (straps are steel) while holding the tank up with a floor jack. when the straps are out of the way, slowly lower the tank. There should be enough slack in the wires leading to the pump connector (and fuel line) to slide the tank almost all the way out from under the truck. Turn the retainer counter clockwise (I think) and it comes off and the pump lifts right out. Good Luck!
The flasher needs to be replaced. You can get for around $25 at Schucks. Look under the driver's side dash and way up on the left you should see the original green flasher. Pull out and plug in new one. Hard to reach, but definetely a do it yourselfer.
