You need to shut the car off when fueling up. The fuel tank needs to maintain a certain pressure in it for the car to operate properly which can not be achieved with the cap removed.

If the car has sat for more than a couple of months the gas will turn (sour)or in other words go bad. This is especially true for high octane and race fuel as these will go bad sooner. The engine will have a hard time burning this mixture and could shake and stall out while running. Add fresh gas a couple gallons at a time and dilute the mixture or drain the tank, blow out the lines and refill with fresh fuel. Stabil (tm) is a product you can purchase that helps the gas not to turn (sour)

I hope you have a garage to do this in, because this is not like the older cars with easy access. These water pumps in the newer Dodges are driven off the timing chain, which means that just about every pulley, belt and part the blocks the timing chain cover has to be removed just to get it out of the way. Then you have to remove the timing chain cover just to get to the water pump.

If the engine is front mounted (I've never seen under the hood of a 2002) and your hands can't fit to access the bolts to turn them/parts to remove them, you might even want to carefully (airbag sensor wire if there is one [look first]) remove the front end (bumper, headlights, grill, crossmember) for more easy access.

The best place to buy radiators is a local radiator shop which specializes in them. They offer new or rebuilt radiators and can repair damaged ones as well.

The timing is controlled by the PCM, so there is no timing adjustments.

set both your camshafts to 90degrees with the cylinder head and cover mating surfaces, using the little punched holes as your guides. Set cylinder number one to TDC and align the chain marks on the gears as follows:

The two colored pieces of chain go on the right, and the the left gear and the crankshaft sprocket get one each. Reset your tensioner before reinstalling it or it will fail dismally. Rotete the engine using the crankshaft about three complete revolutions until the timing marks are back to were you set them. Before you close your engine, install the sparkplugs into the boots, but not into the block, then crank your engine and check for spark. If they spark you are good to go. If not remove the camshaft position sensor and try again. If they spark without the sensor in, the rotate you right camshafts by 180 degrees and try again. when working fine, installation is the reverse of the removal.

note, be sure your tensioner is fully reset or you will trhow away your engine like an ex-spouse.

Remove the timing belt cover. There should be a pully that will ratched in and out to tighten and loosen the belt.

follow the top radiator hose to the engine and there will be two half inch bolts pull the housing off and that is your thermostat, replace in same position as the old one. p.s. is car overheating may not be thermostat, you can test thermostat in pan of boiling water and see if it opens or closes.

Check out the area on your motor that would normally house plugs....but....you will see flat box shaped looking fixtures. Loosen them and pull upward to find your plugs down in the engine as you would in any other car. Remove them as you would on any car at that point.

Remove the right pillar cover. Once removed slide a flat head screw driver carefully between the cover that holds the speaker and the dash cover. You will see 2 separate covers. Pry open slowly from the right side up. You will be able to use your hands. The speaker is held in with screws. I never took my out just unplugged it. Be careful with the windshield when you remove the speaker. Hope this helps
