The star in the middle of the Ethiopian flag represents unity and diversity. The colors of the flag are red (strength), green (the land), yellow (hope), and blue (peace).

In the 4th century, it was one of the first countries to have officially adopted Christianity as the state religion.

No they aren't, however sometimes it may appear that way. Although some have mixed blood it's really unfit to call them white. Just another attempt for outsiders to claim stake in Ethiopia rich history.

there is a small group of Jews, the Beta Israel who live in northwestern Ethiopia, though most emigrated to Israel in the last decades of the twentieth century as part of the rescue missions undertaken by the Israeli government, Operation Moses and Operation Solomon. Some Israeli and Jewish scholars consider these Ethiopian Jews as a historical Lost Tribe of Israel.

The life in Ethiopia's rural area is diffrent from the cities like Addis Ababa because the rural area aren't as technologically advanced as the city go-er's. Majority of them still have to go to a river source for water. have no indoor plumbing, and have no electricity.Thr rural people are farmers and still live in the strong customs that they lived 50 years ago In contrast to the people of the city, many of them have running water and electricity. The strrets are nicer and people dress like how they would in America. Although it is not as technologically advanced as America, Europe or Asia, it is on its way. This is because of Ethiopia's long living independance. The similarities are in culture and religon, and religious clothing and ethnic food (like injera, wett, dabo, ambasha). But many of the culture differs because there are different types of people(Like the Tigraye, Oromo, Welo, Gonderaye, Amhara, Bulga, etc)

Ethiopia is the notable place of ancient civilisation.

Because the Ethiopian army wasn't well trained and theequipment was to old and they were not able to defend themselves against musterdgas and airattacks. The Italians had 10 times as many soldiers. And because the international agreement within the league of nations to help any country that would come under attack, in this case Ethiopia, would get help from the international community. But they didn't intervene. (excuse my for my English)

Part of of Ethiopia used to belong to Somalia, which is why a lot of somali people live in that border of Somalia and Ethiopia. The Americans sent over troops to make peace in Somalia to help restore peace during the somali civil war.But the somali people did not really like having forgieners in their country. While the American troops tried to make peace two American troops were killed, after that all the troops were taken out of the country. but that was the first time. the second time they belived that terriost were in the country and bomed the country.
