: Germany, with a total population of 82.4 million is made up of 91.5% German, 2.4% Turkish, and the other 6.1% is Greek, Italian, Polish, Russian, Serbo-Croatian and Others.

In an announcement released on June 23, 2016, the US Census Bureau stated that the fastest growing minority group in the USA was the Asian group. Most of the new immigrants have come to the US from China. The growth in the Asian population replaced that of Hispanic immigrants.

Germans, by far. In fact, Germans over took English as the largest Ethnic group in America before 1900. But the seeds were placed in Colonial times. Pennsylvania's population was 33% German in 1775, and other Northern states were around the same percent.

Ethnic groups are formed because of the what makes people think they are the same either it been race or religion. Previous backgrounds of a person usually plays a very important role in distinguishing me from you type of thing.

e.g. If a person was brought up in a poor family, they will find it much easier to talk to someone who has been in the same situation before.

Beliefs and Religion also play a significant role.

They are usually Germans, Turks, Arabs, poles, Russians, Vietnamese, and blacks

Arabs.

However, it is worth noting that Arabs and numerous other ethnic groups are not actually homogenous. They are composed of two historical groups that intermarried and created a unified culture. In the Arab case, Arab nomads from Arabia conquered the Levant region, Mesopotamia, Egypt, and North Africa and brought those territories under their rule. During that period, those Native Peoples who converted to Islam began to take on the same mannerisms as the foreign Arabs who had conquered them. They began to speak the same language, dress in the same clothes, and believe in the same general ideologies. This process is well-documented by Arabs and is called Arabization or Ta3arib (تعريب). This is why the Jews and the Christians of the Upper Middle East (the Levant and Mesopotamia) often do not consider themselves Arabs. Unlike their brethren whose conversion to Islam made them more susceptible to Arabization, they retained their pre-Arabized ethnic sensibility. Therefore, although many Middle Easterners call themselves Arabs, the majority do not and should not have lineages that go back to Arabia, but to pre-Arab ancestors in the Middle East and North Africa, likely Jews, Christians, and Pagans in the Byzantine Empire.

Race and ethnicity are two different things. They can often be used together as "race/ethnicity" to allow for people to use whichever is more comfortable to them, or because bureaucracies sometimes wish to track groups of people, some of which are race, and others of which are ethnic groups. Hispanics, for example, are often considered to be an ethnicity and not a racial group.

Race generally refers to major groupings of people, often loosely based on skin color and geographic origins. White, black, asian, etc. are considered races of people.

Ethnicity is a more specific term having to do with the person's cultural/tribal group, such as French, German, Chinese, etc. There can also be ethnic subgroups. For example, Bavarians could be considered an ethnic group within the German ethnicity.

At the present time many ethnic communities, especially those of aboriginal peoples, are in danger of disappearing altogether. This happens through enculturation or assimilation into larger ethic groups. No accurate estimate of ethnic groups with numbers below 50 or so individuals exists.

It was monolithic ethnic population for centuries living in relative harmony until it was visited by the first Europeans. Today there are less than one percent of the Delaware population that are American Indian,

Today there is a growing Hispanic population, an increasing Black population and an increasing Asian population which is the national trend.

Linguistic chauvinism is the idea that one's language is superior to others. For a few examples, the Greeks called all non-Greek speakers barbarians, the French are only at home where French is spoken, and English speakers consider the ability to speak another language a social defect.

Cultural variation can be influenced by factors such as historical events, geographical location, social interactions, economic conditions, and political circumstances. These factors contribute to the development of unique customs, traditions, beliefs, and values within different societies and communities around the world.

African American

English is the largest group in Australia, followed by Australian, Irish, Scottish, Italian, German, Chinese, Indian, Greek, and Dutch. Over 80 percent of Australia's population comes from a European background.
