How does environmental factors affect growth and development in farm animal?
More than any other creature on earth, we humans affect the environment the most. Pollution in water caused mostly by pesticides and fertilizers harm marine wildlife. Gas from factories and exhaust from cars cause acid rain, which burns and destroys forests making habitats dissolve. Constant cutting of trees, and removal of plants causes the environment for the animals to rapidly decrease. To help stop these problems, you can use less none-recyclable things, reuse plastic bags, watch how much water you use, and save energy. Don't pollute.
Why do the farmers in Egypt keep the farm animals inside at night?
Not all farm animals are kept inside in the winter. Beef cattle and a lot of horses and sheep are tough enough to withstand cold weather and snowy winters to survive. They do get access to shelter though in the form of a windbreak fence, a shed or sometimes a barn (especially for sheep) if the weather gets too nasty.
For other animals though, like farm fowl, pigs, goats, for instance, it's because they are much more sensitive to colder temperatures and could easily perish in such an extremely cold environment.
Can you keep a horse in your backyard?
Keep a steady supply of water and some kind of tasty hay, keep a shelter nice and dry for them, and be nice to them. Then they won't want to run away.

What to do if chickens are pecking at fence?
Seriously does anyone have an answer for this? Its really annoying
Yes! So long as there is balance. You do not want a herd of 50 sheep to one or two chickens, likewise you do not want a flock of 50 birds to one or two sheep. The important thing here is balance. Letting your chickens roam in your sheep pasture is a great way to keep flies down! The chickens scratch the dirt looking for weed seeds, grubs and bugs. Fly larvae hatches in fecal piles left behind by any livestock, including sheep. Chickens have no qualm picking the newly hatched larvae and eggs out and thus reducing your fly population. Also, the addition of nitrogen rich chicken poop will aid in faster decomposition of sheep or any other livestock manure with the added benefit of providing nitrogen to the pasture graze crop which helps it grow faster. Win win situation. Be aware though that, you want to look at what potential parasites the two might share and determine what you are going to do to prevent anything from contaminating the other. I personally let my chickens into my goat pastures--not terribly different from sheep. A parasite that chickens and goat share is Coccidia and I make sure that is is always in check.
Are the cows given growth hormones and antibiotics that are processed by Omaha Steaks?
No. If they did it would be a portion of their marketing. Omaha Steaks sells factory beef at a premium that is laced up with tenderizers, preservatives, antibiotics, hormones, and every other mechanically and technologically engineered aspect you could consider. Just purchase beef that is specified organic and you will save money and your lifespan.
Why do goldfish huddle together?
If your goldfish are huddled together, there are a few explanations. One, the tank may be cold. The goldfish will huddle together to keep warm. Two, the tank may be too small. The goldfish will naturally migrate to the corners to try to spread out. Other than that, I'm not really sure. I would investigate these explanations first, before searching for others.
i have three fantail goldfish myself they always swim together i think the reason they huddle is because in the pet store the fish lived in a much smaller tank with many other fish it looked like they lived like that for awhile
Can you trim a rooster's spurs without causing him pain?

Safest
The safest way to trim the spur is to use a Dremel tool with a cut off blade attached. As the cut off blade grinds through the spur, it cauterizes the blood vessel which prevents bleeding. The problem with clotting solutions is the rooster can cause the wound to open by picking or even straining to crow, the wound then causes "bleed out" to occur which means, the rooster would bleed to death. Grinding the spur off with the dremel would not only be the safest, it is also the quickest and least painful.

What types of livestock on dairy farming?
Most dairy farms operate in the same manner. In other words they have similar methods of management to many other dairy farms. However most management types depends on where each dairy farm is located, and what country they reside in. But basically, here are the BASIC methods that every dairy farm should be carring through: Dairy cows need high quality forage, so fields of corn, wheat, barley and/or legumes are grown and harvested for silage. Silage is often stored in tall towers for easier access and minimal spoilage. Any grain that is harvested is sometimes sold as an alternative cash crop for extra income, but most is used in the cows' diets. Straw is baled up for bedding. Some dairy farmers prefer woodchips to straw because of the ability of woodchips to soak up moisture better than straw. Cows are milked twice a day, morning and evening. Types of milking parlours differ from farm to farm but all serve the same function. Dairy cows are left in the barn during their lactating periods to decrease incidence of injury to udders and hence mastitis. Dry and calving cows are separated into different groups and housed in different areas on the farm; dry cows are allowed to be in the corral in winter or on pasture in the summer; calving cows are restricted to the calving area for better ability to keep watch on them. Calves are separated from their dams after the fist two days after birth and bottlefed. Bull calves are castrated and are sent to one of two places; the butcher shop as veal, or to a farm that grows them for beef. Some heifers are kept as replacements, and others are sold to the meat market, to feeder operations or to individual buyers wishing to raise some bottle calves. Very few bulls are kept back and are kept for very long as they get very dangerous as they get older. Bulls are primarily put with heifers for a few months before being sold off to be turned into beef. Older cows are artificially inseminated. And so the cycle continues.

What is the white spot in the egg?
it is because of the carbon dioxide content.this co2 leaves after sometimes and i recommend u don't eat this
------
NO! -- The first part of the above statement is true, but the conclusion is wrong. Cloudy egg whites indicate FRESHNESS! (Really!) The fresher the egg, the more CO2 it will contain. As eggs age, the CO2 slowly escapes through tiny pores in the shell.
Now if the egg white looks off-color -- say pink or green -- then it's dangerous. But cloudy eggs are not bad for you, and for breakfast eggs -- especially soft-boiled or soft-scrambled -- they're the best! (FYI -- Older eggs do work better for baking, and especially meringue.)

Dairy products, beef, and fertilizer. As 'Hidden Villa' would say, "Strawberry Milkshakes"...
Recipe Requires:
* One field of grass. * A few Strawberry seeds * A freezer * A blender * One cow
# Plant strawberry seeds. Do not fertilize yet. # The cow eats grass. # The cow produces manure
# The manure fertilizes the grass # The same manure is used to fertilize the strawberries # The manure also fertilizes vanilla bean plants (for ice cream)
# The cow eats more grass (which has been fertilized now) # The cow produces milk and cream # Using vanilla and cream, make ice cream
You now have strawberries, milk, and ice cream.
10. Freeze ice cream and berries 11. Blend together the strawberries, milk, cream, and ice cream. You now have: === ===
Where in the world did chickens originate from?

Why do chickens lose feathers on their backside besides molting?
Stronger chickens will often attack weak chickens by pecking out their feathers, particularly on the rear because that's the end that's facing the stronger chicken when the weaker one tries to run away.
The hens lose feathers on their backs because the roosters are too aggressive. Hens need be bred les than once a day to make teir eggs fertile. When there are too many roosters, the hens will be overbred causing their feathers to be pulled/worn off their backs and necks.
The ideal ratio of roosters to hens is 1 to 12.
