Check for any leaking from the wheel cylinder and replace it if there is. Remove the drum. With channel lock pliers, bend out the end of the first spring at the top, and remove it. Do the same with the second spring. Remove the two pivot springs at the center of the pads. They make a tool for this, but it really doesn't work very well. A pair of pliers works good. You have to hold the pin on the back with your finger so it doesn't turn. After this the brake adjuster on the bottom comes out easily. Make sure the adjuster turns free. Unscrew the two pieces, clean, and put a little white grease on the threads, and screw back together. On the back brake shoe, you have to spread the clip with a screwdriver to remove the emergency brake arm, if you are replacing the shoes. If replacing a wheel cylinder, and the lines are all rusty, don't bother trying to save them. Forget the torch. The line will break any way. Just replace it. It's much easier. Clean all the brake parts of rust and grime. I use my bench grinder with the wire brush end. Use brake cleaner and clean around the backing plate, or a wire brush on a drill works also. Replace the brake shoes, mounting the emergency brake plate first. Put a little grease on the pivot. put the spring washer on, then the clip, and squeeze the clip back over the pin with channel lock pliers. Leave it hanging. Put the shoe holder plate on the top pin, then put the cable on the top pin. Put a little grease on all pivot points including the backing plate where the shoes touch. Take the front shoe, and install the center mounting spring with the two cups. The adjuster cable pivot plate attaches to the shoe, and the top spring goes through the plate and attaches to the top pin on top of the cable you just installed. The cable feeds around the pivot plate. Now the fun. Take the adjuster plate, hook it to the cable on the top hole, and also attach the bottom spring from the other shoe in the same hole. This plate attaches to the second hole from the bottom of the front shoe. Now make sure you have the bar that keeps the two shoes apart installed with the spring and the small plate. It only goes one way. You can now install the adjuster. You will have to stretch the bottom spring to get it in place. After that, pull the shoe assembly apart enough to get the back shoe pin and cups and spring installed. Now take the heavy top spring and attach to the top pin. The brake install tool is needed for this, because the spring is very strong. You hook the end of the tool over the top pin and stretch the spring to snap in place. take the channel locks and squeeze together the spring ends at the top so they are secure. Now you shift the whole assembly to center it on the backing plate, so the drum will fit. Lightly sand off any greasy finger marks on the new shoes. If you replaced a wheel cylinder, bleed the lines.

Sparky here that regulator is located on the fuel rail looking from the back of motor, it will be on the left side and rear of motor. looks like--similar to a vacuum unit. new regulator $50.00 at Napa. Advise if you are that close to the rail, remove injectors and clean them makes big difference. also remove stock exhaust and install some sort of straight pipe huge response difference, along with mass airflow filter. You don't need a diagram. Just look at the top of you throtle body you'll see the vacume line there make sure there all welll plugged in and then follow the one that goes to the firewall.
