This is probably due to the window lift motor going bad. Take off arm rest, inside door latch and speaker grill. Now remove the inside door panel by prying it off with a screw driver along the perimeter. Now you can see the motor inside the door. Removeall the attachingbolts and remopve the motor and gaerabox. Test it on a 12 volt source to be sure it is bad. If so, replace.

How do you remove the ignition from a '93 geo storm?

Okay, I just did this. Getting it out is simple. Remove the bottom plastic 4phillips screws. In the back of the ignition is a little tiny screw you remove then the plastic insert with the wires slips right out the back once this is taken apart you will see the metal latch holding the ignition in place. Be sure the rod is set the same going back in, i.e. acc ,on , start elsewise you'll have a heck of a time getting it back in. It's really very easy.
