Where is the fuel filter in a Ford Falcon au 1999?
In a 1999 Ford Falcon AU, the fuel filter is located under the vehicle, mounted to the chassis near the fuel tank. You'll typically find it on the driver's side, along the fuel line. To access it, you may need to lift the car safely and remove any protective covers if present. Always ensure to relieve fuel system pressure before attempting to replace the filter.
What is Ford Falcon futura exclamation mark warning sign?
The Ford Falcon Futura exclamation mark warning sign typically indicates a potential issue with the vehicle's systems, such as low oil pressure, overheating, or a malfunction in the electronic system. It serves as a caution to the driver to check the owner's manual for specific details and to be vigilant about the car's performance. If the warning persists, it's advisable to have the vehicle inspected by a professional mechanic to avoid further complications.
How do you change oil on a 2008 Ford Falcon?
To change the oil on a 2008 Ford Falcon, start by warming up the engine slightly to thin the oil for easier drainage, then turn off the engine and allow it to cool. Place a drain pan under the oil pan, remove the oil drain plug, and let the old oil drain completely. Replace the drain plug, then remove the old oil filter using an oil filter wrench and install a new filter, ensuring to lubricate the rubber gasket. Finally, pour new oil into the engine through the oil filler cap and check the oil level with the dipstick, adding more oil if necessary.
How do you convert from a generator to alternator on a 1963 Ford Falcon 170 ci engine?
The easyest way is to go with a 1 wire alternator (self exciting). Find or make brackets that will work, mount the alternator and run 1 wire from the alternator to the battery.
How much energy is dissipated to stop a 3000 lb car travelling at 30 miles per hour?
For a start, stop using those silly imperial units of measure, they are obsolete and it is only stubborn conservatives who insist on using them. they will do you no good, and will only complicate understanding real world physics.
Here is a great site for unit conversion
http://www.davidson.com.au/tools/convert/default.asp
1lb = 0.4536 kg
3000 lb * 0.4536 = 1,360 kg
1mph = 1.6 km/h
30mph * 1.6 = 48 km/h
so you question should be:
How much energy is dissipated to stop a 1.3 t car travelling at 48 km/h
First you need to convert the velocity of the object into something useful, that is the SI standard for velocity m/s (meters per second)
1 m/s = 3.6 km/h (60 seconds * 60 minutes)/1000
1 / 3.6km/h = 0.277 (to convert km/h into m/s multiply by this amount)
48 km/h * 0.277 = 13.333 m/s
so we roughly have a 1300 kg mass travelling at 13 m/s.
The formula for converting Mass and Velocity to Kinetic Energy is
Ek = 1/2 MV^2 (Energy Kinetic [Joules] = 1/2 Mass * Velocity Squared)
so
1/2 * 1300 kg * (13 m/s * 13 m/s) = 109,850 J or roughly 110 kJ
So Your Answer is 110 kJ (Kilo Joules)
Now what can be done with that energy to compare it to a real life scenario ?
---- we could light a light bulb with it :
lets say a 100 watt incandescent globe.
1 watt for one second = 1 joule.
110 kJ = 110,000 watt seconds
110kj / 100w = 1100 seconds.
1100 seconds / 60 seconds = 18.33 minutes.
so the energy dissipated to stop a 1.3t car travelling at 48 km/h is enough energy to light a 100 watt light bulb for 18 minutes.
---- we could heat water with it :
Lets say we want to boil water.
4.184 Joules will heat 1 gram of water by 1°C.
to boil water to need to bring it to 100°C.
(110 kJ / 4.184) / 100°C = 262.90 grams = 263ml of water.
a typical small cup of coffee is 275ml
so the energy dissipated to stop a 1.3t car travelling at 48 km/h is almost enough energy to boil enough water for a small cup of coffee.
---- compare this energy to a 600ml bottle of coca cola.
a 600ml bottle of coca cola contains 1080 kJ of energy. this is almost enough to get our 1.3t car travelling from stop to 48 km/h 10 times !
of course all of these examples assume a perfect world with no friction, wind resistance, thermal loss, and other in-efficiencies so the figures will be a little less that ideal.
What was the Black Falcon for which Black Falcon Cruise Terminal is named?

Why when your car warms up you loose spark?
Without year make model & engine size you get a guess. Ignition module, coil, distributor
Is it difficult to replace the ignition leads on a Ford Fiesta M Reg?
IT DEPENDS ON THE ENGINE TYPE,ZETEC IS SIMPLE,PTE ALSO EASY,HCS NOT SO EASY AS COIL PACK IS AT THE BACK OF THE ENGINE AND IS BETTER DONE ONE AT A TIME BY FEELING AROUND AT THE BACK ITS EASIER WITH THE AIR FILTER OFF TOO.
Ed Ford Falcon it has lost spark you have done everything but still no spark what could it be?
Could be a smart lock issue. Check interior light and make sure it is working, check fuse as well.... smartlock shuts off fuel and spark. Then check coil ( very hard to get to) if is smart lock go onto EBAY and buy a smartlock bypass module and get rid of the prolem for ever.... that's what i did no problems since.
could be distributor, coil or ignition module. usually the ignition modules fail first on them.
Where is the air conditoner drain hose located in a 1996 Ford EF?
It's located inside an oval opening in the firewall on the passenger side, behind the washer tank. On my 1996 falcon station wagon, the 12mm hose extended about 20mm and the end of it was pressed up against the inside of the oval gap. I just moved it aside and got soaked with dirty water. Problem solved!
Where is the turn signal flasher on a 1964 Ford Falcon?
On my wifes '64 Falcon, it appears to be above the headlight switch behind the instrument cluster. Hers is hanging loose, but I'm sure there is a clip or mount it should be in, I just haven't found it yet... By the way, we've just had the car 2 weeks. It is an all original, numbers matching 4 door Futura, with a 260 V8 and 2 speed Ford-o-Matic. No rust, original paint, etc. My wife gave $1295.00 for it, and we drove it home! :-D Rotor edit: There is a a metal spring clip on the back of the instrument cluster that the flasher unit clips into. How do you reset radio code for 1992 Ford Falcon EB?
You need to ring a ford dealer with your VIN and they will give you a PIN for your radio
Where is the fuse box on a1997 Ford Falcon ute?
just below the dash above the accelerator pedal you have to remove the bottom part of the dash to access it it just four plastic screws that you sould be able to undo with your fingers then it just comes off
It depends on the body type what a 1962 falcon is worth. Right now prices are running anywhere from 8,000 dollars to 11,000 dollars.
