What is the curb weight of a 1963 Ford Falcon sedan?

Does a Ford Falcon BA 2003 have a cam belt?
No Cam Belt as we know it, but it does have a serpentine belt. This acts like a large old type fan belt driving the water pump, but also loops around the power steering pulley and air con pulley. If it breaks in service it will not cause any damage to the engine but you will loose power assist steering and cooling, so obviously you can not use the vehicle until it is replaced. A handy man could do this, as it is a strait swap, with no need to set engine timing etc as you would with a Cam Belt.

Parts where do i get a hood for a 1961 Ford Falcon?
Start looking for a falcon hood by calling a local salvage yard. They can check with their connections for the hood. Call the auto parts in small towns in your state, as they should know where the older mom and pop yards are that have been around a while. Check online for yards in Arizona. Several specialize in 60s car parts, and due to the climate, there should be little rust to deal with.
How do you remove the steering wheel on your 1962 Ford Falcon?
You will need to remove the horn ring first. Some just pull off, and some have small screws from the back. Once removed, you will see a white piece of plastic with a couple of screws in them, and the blinker stalk will have a screw holding it to this plastic. this plastic is you blinker cam. There should be a couple of wire going into it, as well. Remove this, and you will be staring right into the eyes of a large nut. 7/8's, or so. Remove this nut. Then, you will need a specialty tool. A steering wheel puller. You will see a couple of bolt holes down in the steering wheel. A good puller will comwe with an assortment of fine threaded bolts, which, you should have two that work. If not hunt up a couple of 5/16's, NFC bolts. They usually are fine threaded. The puller has a threaded shaft through it. Bolt the puller to the wheel, and run down the threaded stud against the shaft that you removed the nut from, and begin to tighten. The wheel will come off as the puller puts pressure on it. That should be the full proceedure. Any questions, just email me. Glad to help with the "older" stuff................Chuck.
How do you replace timing chain guides on a 96 4.0 Ford Falcon?
consult the workshop book, cos it takes a fair while to do and it's not for the faint hearted to do. i'd need about 100 pages on how to do it. take to long to write. you gotta remove timing cover, belts, chain tensioner etc etc etc. plus you would wanna change the chain whilst you going. very expensive to do.
Tailgate lock jammed on Ford Falcon station wagon 1995 GLI?
I am no expert but i do have a for wagon also, If the car has central locking (C/L) and the tail gate unlocks with the rest of the car then that would suggest that the key barrel is to blame, If it doesn't unlock with the C/L then that may suggest that the locking arms on the inside of your tailgate may be jammed.
How even if the car does not have C/L you will have to remove the cover from the inside of the tailgate and see what you can come up with,
Usually over time your key will wear and the locks will wear with it, However if the tailgate lock doesn't get used often the key would be worn but nit the lock in witch case you will need a locksmith to repair or replace the lock, Further more if you don't mind having a separate key just get a replacement lock from a wreckers and replace it yourself.
How do you disable central locking on a Nissan Pulsar N15 series?
i was able to do this by going to the fuse box under the bonnet and removing the power windows fuse, 25A 32v

How do you stop the horn blowing on a 1992 Ford Falcon?
I had this on my 1994 Ford Fairmont (Australian) - turns out the horn pad in the center of the steering wheel is heald out from the contacts by some soft foam rubber, which breaks down after a while, so that the contacts are always touching. Step 1. pull the plugs out from the horns themselves to shut the thing up! Step 2. Get a new horn 'pad' (center of steering wheel) to replace the old one. Hope this helps.

How do you program key fob remote for 1999 Ford Falcon?
1999 Ford Falcon would be the AU series. Cycle ignition key to acc position and press the rear demist switch 3 times in about 2 seconds with the doors closed. The door locks will cycle to indicate that the learn mode has been entered. Press a button on each of the remotes. The door locks will cycle in response as confirmation. Only these remotes will be coded and work. You may need to try different speeds whilst pressing switch to get right. Also wait a moment as the electronics can take a short while to respond. When finished simply turn off ignition. All Falcons use this method if they have a rear demister and fitted with factory remote central locking.

How do you identify Ford 144 ci and 170 ci 6 cylinder engines?
Hi
This answer relates primarily to the Falcon, as the Mustang did not come out with the 144 cu in engine.
The 144 cu in engine has a blue rocker cover, and is available with an 8.7:1 compression ratio and optional 7.5:1 ratio; a sticker on the inside of the windscreen, if it exists, indicates if the motor is the high-compression one.
On early models, the air cleaner is secured to the top of the carburettor by a threaded rod with a right-angled end that allows pliers to be used to turn the rod to tighten the securing clamp.
From memory, the 170 cu in engine has a yellow rocker cover and 8.7:1 compression ratio.
Hope this helps.
