if its a mk6 then they usually have a stretch belt as there is no adjuster. i spent £50 on the 3 set belts and they are stretch. still the same.

Its primary fault is being a fiesta.

That is their version of the check engine light.

It depends on the engine fitted to the vehicle!! i have a 1997 1.25 and changed the plugs recently the hand book stated a gap 0f 1.3mm. Check your hand book.

the wheel bearings are press fit bearings you need to pull out the drums and take them and the new bearings to a machine shop they can press them in a few minutes and fairly cheep to do

All today's Ford engines, both petrol and diesel, use 5w/30. This type of oil is readily available on supermarket shelves and the containers marked "Suitable for Ford petrol and diesel engines".

When you lift the bonnet you will see the cylinder head cover, this is where the engine oil filler cap is located. To refill your engine oil unscrew this cap and pour in the required amount of oil. Make sure you pour it in a bit at a time and give it a minute or so for it to flow into the sump before checking the oil level. It is oimportant not to overfill the engine with oil. When you change the oil, below I have written how to perform an oil change which should be done every 5000 miles or 6 months, whichever occurs first. The oil should be changed when the engine is warm. Park the vehicle on firm level ground, aplly the handbrake and open the bonnect and remove the engine oil filler cap from the cylinder head cover, and the oil level dipstick from its tube. Raise the front of the vehicle and support it securely on axle stands, place a tray under the drain plug located on the sump to catch the oil and them using a spanner unscrew the oil drian plug. Allow some time for the old oil to drain. When the oil has completely drained wipe the drian plug and its treads in the sump and refit the plug tightening it to the torque setting in your manual. Place the drain pan under the oil filter (looks a bit like a small jam jar but metal)the using a strap wrench unscrew the oil filter from the oil pump. Withdraw the filter then using a clean rag wipe clean around the filter mounting and the fit a new oil filter. Apply a light coating of clean engine oil to the rubber selaing ring on the new filter, then screw the oil filter onto the oil pump, Once you have done this, you will need to refill the engine with oil as described in the first part, pour in half the required amount of oil first,check under the car to make sure there are no leaks, then you need to add the other half slowly, a bit at a time. Slide the dipstick in and check the oil is between the max and min lines on the dipstick. Then you will need to run the engine and allow the oil to flow roudn the engine, the oil light stays on for a couple of minutes.

The mechanics are fairly easy, but accessing them is a pain. If it was me I'd start with pulling the seat out of the car. That'd let me flip the seat over, which'd make it easy to undo the fasterners and pull the backrest upholstery(fabric only) off. With the fabric off the mechanism should be fully visible and you can figure out what to unhook from where.

It is located inside the engine block itself and is sends a signal to the ECU. The ECU then switches the fan on.

check the tyres, it should tell you the size there - failing that check out halfords - they have an easy to use replacement parts "will fit" system.

Remove the tape player decorative cover. Remove the tape player retaining screws. Remove the wiring harness from the back of the tape player. Reverse the process to install the new tape player.

Remove Fuel pump fuse located behind glovebox. Jack rear of car up and support on axle stands. Fuel filter is located in front of the fuel tank on the left hand side of the car. (It's a cylinder shape) Unclip from mountings for easy access to the two clips on either side. Unclip both ends by depressing the clips (give it a gentle wiggle if not coming off easily). WARNING fuel will drain out of the hoses and filter once removed so be sure to wear protective gloves and catch fuel in a suitable container. Replacement is the reversal of refitting. Be sure to fit replacement fuel filter facing in the same direction. Don't forget the fuel pump hose.

Fiesta models have an electricaly controlled valve that controls the amount of hot water that passes to the heater matrix inside the car, they do play up a little. It is located beetween the rear of the engine bay compartment that is obscured by the platic that sits at the bottom of the windscreen. It's right in the midle. Should be easy to find as its clearly attached to the water pipes, (the pipe to the right), and has an electrical connector. Most of the time it is the valve itself, however it is possible that there is an electrical fault to blame, (rare, fords wiring is generaly good) so have a quick look at the wires and the connector to eliminate anything obvious before you go and buy a new valve. Your piston rings are most likely worn out. you'll have to do an engine overhaul or just hire a mechanic to do it. It could also be excessive wear to the cylinder walls and might need to be "Honed"

i had the same problem, it could be one of a few different things, if the Car has and injection type engine there is an emergency fuel cutoff switch that could have been activated(what happened to me but im still unsure how), its located in the passenger footwell behind the plastic panel near the floor, there will be a small hole, about an inch in diameter with some sponge in it, if u push your finger through here should feel the button you have to press ontop of the assembily behind there, if not its fairly simple to remove the panel to look at it. it could also be damp electrical connections under the bonnet, spray something that will get rid of the water on it (Wd-40) on the ignition module, which is located in the middle of the bonnet, closest to the windscreen, and other electrical connections on the actual engine, (there should be about 3 or 4), if its a carbourettor engine (chek in your manual) and the fuel has been ran low, due to the age of the car, the fuel tank potentially has quite abit of "rubbish" in it which could be stopping the fuel flow. Listen for your fuel pump aswel if its a carb engine, if u cant hear it then it may be that that's gone, you will find that, behind the engine, right below the carb! also b4 u go taking the carb apart i would take the air filter assembily off (the grey plastic aswel not just the filter, and try and start it, maybe the air filter is clogged. and before taking carb apart and if still no success....buy a haynes manual! hope you fix your problem though, J
