The little filament inside will be burnt in half and some black smudging from the burn is possible.

Not sure but it could be that the car's heater unit water has air in it. If so I believe this can be caused by exhaust gases coming from a leaking cylinder head gasket.

It means that the computer has detected a fault and has stored a problem code. You can use a code scanner to find out what's wrong. It's probably something like an oxygen sensor, EGR valve, MAP sensor or something else that affects the emissions, but you won't know for certain until you check for the code.

i have a 200 f150 p/u if I put my foot into it it will accellerate and shift as it should until 60 mph. at that time it will over rev and I have to slow down and dissengage over drive.

Fuse 47 a 15amp fuse is for the cigarette lighter..it's located behind the glove box which you can drop down for easy access.

The "glove box" is the little box that opens on the left side, under the instrument gauges near the left door.......Not the big glove box on the right hand side.

Worked on a 2007 Ford Focus. Fuse box is on the drivers side. Located behind the CD holder box.

The 2007 Ford Focus has an inline 4 engine.

Short of having a service manual in front of me, it's basically like this: Disconnect the battery, the reverse switch, disconnect the shift linkage, disconnect/remove the clutch slave cylinder, remove the wheels, put the car on jackstands, loosen the steering knuckles so you can then pull the axles out of the tranny, loosen all the transaxle to engine bolts, get a floor jack (or better yet a transmission jack), gently pull (wrestle) the thing away from the engine and then drop it down, remove the pressure plate from the engine, the friction disc will then fall out, inspect the flywheel and replace if necessary, replace the release bearing, install new pressure plate and friction disc (keep your greasy hands off of the friction disc!!) making sure to put the correct side of the friction disc out and then align the center of the friction disc with the hole in the flywheel, Gently align and mate the tranny and engine back together, then follow the above steps in reverse. Simple, it just takes a lot of time, sweat, and maybe some bad language to complete the job.

What you really need is a good repair manual in front of you to walk you through the procedure and to give you the exact steps for the Focus clutch. A helper would be nice too. Also, another car if you have to get parts or supplies. The first front wheel drive car I changed a clutch on took me most of the day, after a few it gets a little easier.

Then again, it might be worth it to pay someone else to do it, depending on your comfort level for doing major work to the car.

At most every 100,000 miles, but preferrably every 60,000. The belt itself can last up to 200,000 miles, but this is one of those things you really need to fix before they go bad. If you get unlucky and have the belt break, that will throw off your cam timing, and can rip valves out of the engine, causing major damage

On mine it was the fuel pressure regulator. I have a 4 cyl engine with 185 K miles on it. Over the life of the car, I have replaced the regulator several times. I tried an aftermarket regulator, that lasted only a few thousand miles. The factory equipment unit is more but worked about 5 times longer.To check it, I would have the car running, cold, and pull the vacume line to the regulator. All but one time, gasoline would squirt out of the port where the vac hose hooks up, to the regulator, so BE CAREFUL, RAW GASOLINE. One time I didn't have gas, but it still was the problem. Apparently, the fuel rail gets hot enough to trash the diaphragm inside the regulator. .

Change your tranny fluid! you could be slipping to!
